I nodded slowly. "Ezra..."

Ezra smiled gently as he heard me say his name. Ezra was silent for a few moments as he sat on the couch, thinking about what to say next. Eventually, he spoke again in a gentle voice. "Do you mind if I ask you something?"

I shook my head.

Ezra took a brief pause as he gathered his thoughts for what to ask next. "So I heard you mention that when you lived in the woods, you went hunting for foods and things you needed to survive out there. Is hunting something that you've always done?"

Ezra spent the night at the shack, he had no intention to sleep yet. He was still keeping an eye on the men, watching them from inside the shack. Ezra was just being extra vigilant and carefully monitoring them until he was able to figure out what was really going on.

Ezra quietly watched me sleep. For whatever reason, he was unable to fall asleep yet, he still felt the need to keep watch over me. Ezra continued monitoring my small breaths as I slept.

Ezra sighed quietly as he just kept looking at me sleeping. He still couldn't fall asleep, he just couldn't rest his eyes. Ezra was just going to sit there quietly while I slept, he wouldn't do anything to wake me up. Ezra leaned his head back onto the couch for support as he just continued to watch me.

Ezra was trying his best to keep a low profile, but some of his partners were starting to bug him about hunting for alien stones. Ezra didn't want to leave the shack because he wanted to make sure that I was safe. Ezra didn't even want to leave me alone for a moment in the shack, he was still afraid that something might happen to me. But Ezra was aware that his partners were also right. They needed more alien stones, and he was the most experienced hunter. Ezra sighed quietly, he didn't want to leave even though he knew he had to.

After listening to his partner's complaints for a few moments, Ezra finally decided that he was going to have to go hunting for stones. He got up from the couch and slowly walked over to the door of the shack. Ezra grabbed his helmet and was about to leave the shack when he stopped.

He looked over at me, I was still asleep. Ezra felt conflicted because he wanted to stay with me in case anything were to happen, but he also knew that he had to go hunting for the stones for his team. Ezra was stuck in between a rock and a hard place.

Ezra sighed quietly. He was unsure of what to do. He really wanted to stay with me, but he knew that his duty was to get the alien stones. Ezra was stuck in a dilemma. He was still standing there near the door, trying to make up his mind of what to do.

Although his partners were waiting for him to go with them, Ezra kept standing there, near the door of the shack, not wanting to move. He knew that he had to make a choice soon, either he went hunting for the stones with his partners, or he stayed with me inside the shack.

Ezra heard the slightest movements coming from me and he turned to look at me. Ezra noticed that I was waking up, and my eyes were starting to open. Ezra still kept his gaze on me, he kept watching me carefully as I slowly started to wake up.

I finally opened my eyes. Ezra watched me as I slowly started to wake up. He was watching my every move and my every expression. Ezra kept a hold on his helmet, he was still unsure of what to do. He had to make a choice soon, whether he stay or go back to his partners.

Ezra smiled gently as he watched me stretch. He kept his gaze on me as I sat up on the couch. Ezra was still holding on to his helmet, he was reluctant to leave me alone. Ezra was still stuck between choosing to go hunting or to stay with me.

"What?" I said quietly.

Ezra immediately snapped out of his thoughts as he was startled by me suddenly saying something. He was silent for a moment. "Hmm?" Ezra was trying to hide the fact that he was startled by my sudden question. He had been staring at me when I spoke and now he was acting like he wasn't. Ezra still kept his hold on his helmet, he didn't speak again.

I looked at him holding his helmet. "Where are you going?"

Ezra sighed softly as he spoke. "Well... My partners want me to go out hunting again. They want to go look for more alien stones. We are still in need of more of them." Ezra continued to speak with a gentle tone, he was trying to explain the situation to me.

"Can I come?" I asked gently.

Ezra raised his eyebrows as he heard my question. Ezra was taken by surprise, he didn't expect me to ask if I could come with him and his partners on the hunt. Ezra paused for a moment. He then spoke in a gentle tone. "You want to come with us on the hunt?"

I nodded fast.

Ezra was still caught by surprise but after a few moments, he finally got it together. Ezra nodded gently. "Sure, you can come. But there are some conditions you have to obey. You have to keep quiet and you have to follow our orders without complaining. understood?" Ezra asked me, he was serious now. Ezra needed me to understand what was expected of me if I decided to join them on the hunt today.

I nodded slowly.

Ezra smiled at me. "Good. Now I have to go and tell my partners that I'm bringing you along with us. They might not like that idea, but I don't care. If they complain, that's their problem." Ezra spoke with a serious tone. Ezra was now ready to go and tell his partners that I was coming along. Ezra put his helmet back on his head and was now about to leave the shack.

I nodded again.
