Later in the evening, the men were putting everything into the rocket to get ready to go to Earth. I watched them as some were having drinks celebrating going home after a long few years.

Ezra was also helping to load everything onto the rocket as they prepared to head out. Ezra seemed to be a lot more focused on helping out rather than celebrating. Ezra never really liked the taste of alcohol, so he typically didn't partake in any of the drinking. As he looked around at the other people, he noticed me standing off to the side.

Ezra noticed that I was pretty much alone, so he decided to step over and walk over towards me as he had a gentle smile on his face. Ezra figured that I may be feeling a bit lonely right now being all by myself. Ezra didn't mind being there for me in that manner.

Ezra was a bit caught off guard as I unexpectedly hugged him. Ezra quickly embraced me back and his surprised look quickly faded into pleasure from the hug. Ezra was now smiling even more with me close to him as he continued to keep his arms wrapped around me.

"You feeling okay?" Ezra asked as he remained holding me tightly against him. Ezra could sense a sense of loneliness from me and he figured that it may be due to other people drinking and hanging out together. Ezra wanted me to feel less lonely as he had me close to him.

I nodded as I kept hugging him.

Ezra stayed silent for a short moment as he was still embracing me closely. Ezra seemed to just be enjoying the hug and he liked having me close to him. Ezra decided to remain silent as he wanted to make sure that I felt as comfortable as possible with him. Ezra started to gently rub my back as he held me in his arms, continuing to keep me close.

Ezra's hand gently rubbed my back to provide a bit of comfort for me. Ezra knew just how hard life out here could be as well as everything that had just occurred. Ezra didn't want his silence to make me feel like he was not there for me. Ezra was still holding me close to him as he kept stroking my back.

Ezra kept rubbing my back for a short while, he hoped that it would help provide me with a bit of comfort. Ezra continued to gently brush his fingers over my back, gently soothing me and hoping to bring a bit of ease to me. Ezra also figured that in addition to feeling lonely and nervous, I was most likely also feeling upset and sad. Ezra wanted to do whatever he could to help provide me with comfort. Ezra kept his hand gently rubbing my back with soft and caring motions as he hugged me tightly.

Ezra held the hug for a short bit longer before his one hand left my back to gently stroke my hair. Ezra knew that right now I needed some sort of comfort and he was doing whatever he could to provide it for me. Ezra's gentle and soothing touch with his hand had to have made some difference, however small. Ezra held me even tighter as his hand left my hair to return to its previous spot, rubbing the back of my back once again.

As I pushed Ezra into the rocket, Ezra barely had a chance to react before the door was closed. Ezra was a little bit surprised, but he quickly regained himself as he stepped further inside of the rocket. Ezra looked back towards me as he could see me backing away. Ezra wasn't sure where the creatures had come from or why they were running over. Ezra had an idea, but he wasn't certain. Ezra started to yell over to me.

A tear fell on my face as I stepped back. The creatures were ready to attack. I looked at Ezra.

Ezra's eyes could see that I was now beginning to cry as I stepped back from the creatures. Ezra immediately understood what I was doing as I shoved him into the rocket. Ezra figured that I was trying my best to save him as his heart began to beat fast once again. Ezra felt an immense sense of guilt as he realized I was about to put my life in danger because of him. Ezra screamed my name out in panic as he stepped towards the door of the rocket.

However, the rocket door was locked. I looked at him with a soft smile as I whispered. "I will be okay."

For a moment, Ezra seemed to be frozen in a state of pure shock and panic, but after a few moments, he managed to regain himself. Ezra tried to open the door again, but it was clear that the rocket door was now locked. Ezra realized that his efforts were going to be in vain and that he was unable to open the door. Ezra started to panic even more as this realization hit him, and he began to scream my name once again.

I started to step back as the creatures surrounded me. I looked up at the rocket where I could see Ezra watching, I was trying not to cry however the tears were building up in my eyes. I blew Ezra a kiss knowing it would be our goodbye.

As I blew Ezra a kiss, Ezra's panic only amplified even more. He screamed my name out with all the might he could muster as he watched the creatures surround me. Ezra felt completely powerless as I was going face-to-face with the creatures alone. A wave of tears came down Ezra's face as the sight of me going through the situation hurt his heart. Ezra quickly began pounding his fist against the door of the rocket, still screaming out my name as the creatures came even closer.

As the creatures continued to surround me, Ezra's heart completely dropped. He knew that it would only be a matter of moments before they would get to me, and they would attack. Ezra felt like yelling out once again but the words would fail him. Ezra continued to pound his fist against the door, still attempting to open it. Ezra couldn't bear to see me in such danger, especially when it was because of him.
