The men were sitting down and taking breaks as I just walked around slowly.

Ezra also took a seat and began to relax as his partners did the same, the others weren't paying any mind to me as I walked around. Ezra kept me in his side vision as he looked at me from a distance. Ezra spoke up and called me over. "Hey, could you come here for a second?"

I heard his voice and walked back over to him.

When you reached Ezra, he looked up at me with that same soft, gentle smile he always had on his face. Ezra was resting on the ground and sitting on his leg, he smiled as he spoke. "Could you sit by me a second?"

I sat on the ground next to him.

Ezra stayed silent as he looked at me for a brief moment before speaking again. "I have a small question for you..."

"Yeah?"

Ezra kept looking at me before he finally spoke up again. "Why did you suddenly want to join us for this hunt?"

"Because I wanted to..."

Ezra nodded as he spoke again. "There was nothing else going on that got you to join us?"

"Because I wanted to stay with you..."

Ezra continued to smile at me as his face turned just a bit red when I said that, he blinked a bit and looked at me for a moment. "Just to stay with me?"

I nodded.

Ezra was slowly beginning to understand what I meant by that now, and he was still blushing. Ezra spoke again as he gave me a gentle smile, he kept his voice soft and gentle like always. "So... you wanted to spend this time with just me?"

"Yes..." I smiled slightly.

Ezra slowly smiled more and his face only got more and more red as I confirmed what he was thinking. Ezra was starting to get pretty flustered now, but he kept his voice soft and gentle as he replied. "Is there a particular reason you specifically wanted to be with me?"

I started to go shy and covered my face.

Ezra saw how I had shyly covered my face and he understood my mood quickly. Ezra slowly chuckled and he reached his hand up to gently caress my face. Ezra kept his voice calm and soft. "Hey... it's alright, you don't have to tell me the reason if you don't want to... I was just curious."

I looked into his eyes. "I like you..."

Ezra kept his eyes locked with mine, he was still blushing as he looked right back at me. Ezra finally spoke up as he looked at me thoughtfully. "You like me...?"

I nodded.

Ezra couldn't help but smile more as he listened to me, his blushing only got more intense as well. Ezra spoke up with genuine enthusiasm in his voice. "Oh? Is it just as a friend or...?"

"More..."

Ezra's face only kept on blushing more, his chest was rising and falling more quickly now, and he suddenly felt his heartbeat pick up faster. Ezra's eyes were locked with mine, he had a genuine grin on his face as he spoke again and he kept his voice soft and delicate. "More than friends... you mean?"

I nodded again.

Ezra kept smiling as he spoke, his face was still quite red from blushing but he was also genuinely happy. Ezra wanted to make sure he understood what I meant. "So... you want to be more than just friends? Like, in a romantic way?"

I nodded.

Ezra was now even more happy that I had confirmed that, his face was still quite red from blushing but he was still smiling as he spoke again, his voice was filled with even more genuine enthusiasm and joy. "Oh... Do you mean like as... a couple?"

"Yeah..." I looked down thinking he would say no.

Ezra could see me looking down and he could see my expression changing as I was starting to worry he would say no. Ezra smiled softly and he moved his hand up to my chin, he gently lifted my head to make sure I was looking at him. Ezra kept his voice soft and gentle as he spoke. "So you want us to be a couple... like as boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"If you want to... I wouldn't force you.." I said quietly.

Ezra smiled even more and his face finally started to stop tingling from blushing so much. Ezra nodded as he spoke again, he kept his voice as gentle and as soft as always. "I'd love to... I'd love to be your boyfriend... if you'd allow me to be."

I smiled as I heard his voice then nodded.

Ezra smiled back at me as he saw me nod, he suddenly got a bit excited and he wanted to lock in this moment. Ezra suddenly spoke up again. "So... are we boyfriend and girlfriend now? Are we official?"

I smiled at him and looked up at him cutely.

Ezra chuckled as he saw my cute expression, he was already starting to fall for my adorable personality. Ezra kept his gentle grin on his face as he spoke again. "Was that a yes? Are we officially boyfriend and girlfriend now?"

"Yes..."

The next day, it was another hunt and I was walking with Ezra holding onto his arm. The other men were walking behind confused why I was allowed to stand with Ezra at the front.

Ezra was leading everyone as they walked through the forest, he was still holding my arm as I was now holding onto his arm, and the rest of the hunting group was walking behind us both. The group seemed a bit confused, it was unusual to see Ezra walk this close to any other individual, he usually kept a distance from everyone. Ezra didn't seem to notice his group's reactions as he continued to walk, his gaze was locked on me and he was fully focused on me alone right now.

The group kept walking and the other men started whispering amongst each other, they were trying to figure out why Ezra was suddenly so close to me. One of the men decided to speak up and he called out Ezra's name from behind them, the other men all turned to look back at the hunting group, now walking behind Ezra and me.
