regulus didn't want to exist anymore.

he was walking down the hallway, going to the library to meet potter. he kept thinking about the feeling of the burning stare of potter at potions. it was a stupid idea to listen to his magic and choose potter, but it was the only way to do this. regulus was still baffled, how can he bring people with him? he didn't understand. is this just a potter case? what is his magic's deal with potter, anyway?

he huffed, entering the library with a scowl. he spotted potter waiting for him at a table, staring at the door. when he saw regulus his eyes widened, and pushed the chair, motioning to regulus to come and sit. regulus walked to the table, and sat down on the chair. his brain screaming at him to run away.

"so?" james said nervously, "can you explain to me what the bloody hell happened yesterday?" he was so confused, and he wanted answers.

"i don't know how i even did that. we'll have to figure it out together, potter."

when james opened his mouth to speak, regulus interrupted him, and said, "look. we can't talk about this here. meet me at the astronomy tower, at midnight tonight. don't get caught." james almost chuckled at that, but stopped himself before regulus got suspicious. no one can catch him with the invisibility cloak in his hands.

james sighed, "let's just start with potions."

regulus stayed quiet for a moment, then said, "yeah, let's start with potions."

when they were done, regulus rested his head on the table. james got up, and grabbed his books, "regulus?"

regulus looked up to him, "what do you want?"

"i know sirius told you to come with dorcas to hang out with us. we're all hanging out on saturday, hogsmeade." james stuttered, trying to smile without looking nervous.

regulus sighed, "i'll think about it."

james grinned, "brilliant!" regulus just hummed back, he wasn't in the mood for james' shining.

i'll see you later tonight?" james rather asked himself than regulus.

"yes, potter. please leave now." regulus said, exasperated.

when it was dinner time, regulus couldn't eat. he was nervous, what if potter tells someone? regulus knew he was too noble for that, but he can't help but feel worried his secret would be out after he tells him.

he glances to pandora, he felt guilty. she hadn't talked to him since the argument yesterday. she looks heavy, he knows she's still worried about him. he knows has to admit, she has a point. but he can't help it, he needs to figure out what he is capable of. he just needs to convince her, that she can't change his mind, she has to accept it. he turns to evan, and nudges him with his arm,

"what do you want?" evan said, annoyed, he wanted to eat in peace for one day.

"i want you to tell pandora to meet me in the girls' bathroom, second floor, right after dinner is over." he said quietly.

evan furrowed his brows in confusion, "why?"

"i need to talk to her." regulus replied, pushing around his food with a fork.

evan looked at him, and chuckled, "so, you want to apologise?

"a black doesn't apologise." regulus sneered at him.
