love at first glance
That first moment when I saw you, it only took a glimpse;
You raised your brows with interest and later sealed it with a kiss.
I dust off the old memory, replace the worn-out frame-
Should I display it for the world to see or simply hide the remembrance away?
While hiding is much easier, I truthfully must admit...
With a face that looks like yours, I'd gladly take the hit.
Call it destiny or fate or claim it was written in the stars,
You and I were meant to meet, it's why we've come so far.
If I could touch those high notes, I swear I'd sing a pretty melody-
"You've lit every bare inch of my soul on fire; by existing, you set my heart free!"
I hear wedding bells ringing and Christmas carols singing and babies crying in strollers built for two;
What a happy image, oh dear Lord I am smitten, how many ways can I say I love you?
