After the cleaning day, their friendship only began to grow, as now they'd always be seen hanging around each other.

Their first term test results came in causing the blonde boy to shrink in disappointment. "Really a 38%?" Jiro looked over at the boy "pfft- imagine" she huffed. "Oh yeah! Well let's see yours!" She smirked and smugly showed him her 87% causing Kaminari to deflate as she laughed at him.

As everyone was discussing their results, Present Mic came into the classroom asking kaminari to come with him to his office. Seeing this Jiro backed off and watched him slouch to his office.

"So kaminari!" He greeted him with a smile as he placed Kaminari's awful test marks down to face him. "Alright kid, I know you know what you're in here for, be lucky it wasn't a meeting with Aizawa." Kaminari nodded with a sad expression.
"What's troubling you kid? Why are your scores not improving from the start of the year?" He asked as Kaminari just shrugged. Mic sighed as he looked at the class list "Hmm let's see, no not that yaoyorozu girl she's already got a bunch of kids she's tutoring.."
"Huh? Are you getting someone to tutor me sir?" Kaminari asked as he peered over to look at the class list. "Yeah so you can do better.. oh let's see. Bakugou maybe?" Kaminari shook his head violently. "Well that's a no.. oh maybe Jiro? She's 7th place over all for academics that's not bad.." once kaminari heard Jiro's name he instantly felt excited. "Well judging from your smile that's a green light go!" Mic said as he began to reach out for the P.A. Microphone "KYOKA JIRO CLASS 1-A PLEASE COME TO MY OFFICE KYOKA JIRO CLASS 1-A!" Jiro heard his screams and got confused. "Oh I guess that's for you Jiro." Momo stated.
"Yeah wonder what it's for..." she said confused.

As she made her way to his office he saw kaminari sitting opposite Mic with a flowering smile. "Oh hi Jiro!" He waved as she sat beside him. She smiled back and turned to their teacher "What did you need sir?" She asked.
"Well your classmate over here has been failing.."
"Tell me about it." she whispered.
"So I was thinking you could tutor him for us!"
Her expression turned downwards "seriously?"
"Awww please help me Jiro!!!" Shouted Kaminari.
"Fine. Do I atleast get extra credit?"
Mic nodded causing her to accept the role as his tutor.

As they left his office kaminari hummed a happy tune. "Why are you so happy?" She asked.
"Well I can spend more time with you!" He smiled while merrily walking back to class with her. She blushed but tried to brush it off. "Whatever.." she whispered.

As school came to an end, kaminari turned to Jiro as they both grab their bags to head out. "Hey could you tutor me this afternoon? We could go to the mall?" He said in a bashful tone looking away.
"Huh? Now?" She asked fixing up her chair and tucking it under her desk.

"Yeah? You busy?" He asked.
"No not really, but if you're taking me to the mall you're paying for my food." she said smiling as she walked out of the classroom his heart began to flutter.

Jiro couldn't help but feel uneasy about hanging out with him so often now, before she would live her life with only herself, and maybe with some friends with her from time to time, however kaminari has been in her life everyday since her first day at UA. It was like he was meant to be there. The thought made her feel crazy. She knew he was just a social butterfly who talks to everyone and anyone, even Mineta . But she didn't think he'd be the one walking home with her daily. A part of her hoped it was fate at work, she hoped that maybe she'd have a chance to laugh and smile with him for the rest of her life, however the other part of her felt like it wasn't ever going to happen, especially since he was so out of her league. This thought consumed her fuelling her insecurities.
However in an attempts to ignore everything, she just decided it was best that they'd stay friends.
