After getting back to the Byers house the teens Brough the box of supplies inside and began screwing all the lightbulbs back in. Layla and Nancy reloaded their guns while Jonathan hammered nails into the bat. Layla and Jonathan set the bear trap in the hallway while Nancy poured the gasoline. After everything was ready the teens stood in a triangle and started to go over the plan again.
"Once its here..." Nancy started
"Run to Wills room..." Layla continued
"Wait for the yo-yo to move..." Jonathan said
"Then..." Layla said flicking her lighter open and lighting the flame.
Everyone nodded in agreement as they held the knives to their hands.
"On 3. 1..." Layla started
"2... you guys really don't have to do this-" Nancy cut Jonathan off "3..." everyone then cut a deep line in their hands. Layla wrapped her hand while Jonathan and Nancy wrapped each others hands on the couch. As Nancy was finishing wrapping Jonathans hand there was a loud nocking on the door.
"Jonathan... You there man? It's... it's Steve. Listen I just wanna talk"
Layla walked to the door to find a bloody and bruised Steve.
"Steve you need to leave"
"Layla? What? No, I'm not trying to start anything okay?"
"I don't care about that... you need to leave"
"No. Listen I... I... I messed up, okay? I... I messed up... okay? Really. Please. I just wanna make things right okay? ple-" Steve cut himself off "Wh-Hey. What happened to your hand? Is that blood?"
"Oh, nothing. It was an accident"
"What's going on?"
"Nothing"
"Wait. Did he do this to you?"
"What? No"
"Layla. Let me in"
"No, no. Steve" Layla said trying to keep Steve out but failed to keep the door closed.
"What the?" Steve said looking around at all the weapons and lights.
"You need to get out of here man" Jonathan said
"Woah. What is all-" Steve was cut off but Jonathan
"Listen I'm not asking I'm telling you to get out of here"
"What's that smell? Is that... is that gasoline?!"
"Steve. Get out" Nancy said aiming her gun at Steve
"Woah. Woah calm down Nancy" Layla said stepping between Steve and Nancy
"What? What's going on?!" Steve yelled
"Stop. Nancy put the gun down" Layla said calmly
"Nancy!" yelled Jonathan
Nancy started counting down for Steve to leave, Layla then pulled her gun out now too.
"3"
"Nancy!" Jonathan yelled louder
"2"
"No, no, no, no" Steve panicked
"Nancy! The lights for gods sake!" Layla yelled
"It's here" Jonathan said barley above a whisper
"Where is it?" asked Nancy
"Where is what? Woah, woah!" Steve says seeing all the weapons in hands
