Everyone was in the bus waiting for something to happen, at this point everyone was loosing hope. Lucas and Max were both still up top while the older teens sat across from each other and Dustin paced. A few more minutes passed when everyone heard a noise outside, Max came down from the ladder and joined the other three bellow to look out the windows and try and see what the noise was. No one could see anything until Lucas yelled "10 o'clock!" Steve pointed Dart out. Layla turned around and grabbed her hunting knife for her front pocket and pocket knife in the other front pocket, putting a couple extra magazines in her back pocket and grabbing her gun putting a magazine in it and cocking it. 

"What are you doing?" Steve asked 

"Going out there to kill it, it's not taking the bait" 

"No" But as Steve spoke it was to late, Layla was already out the bus doors and walking towards the deadly other detention creature. Steve turned to grab his bat and walked out following Layla while Dustin closed the doors behind him. 

"You're gonna be the death of me you know?" Steve said as Layla laughed

Layla aimed at Dart but before she could squeeze the trigger Lucas yelled again "3 o'clock! 3 o'clock!" both teens looked to see more monsters approaching.

"Well shit" Layla said 

"Abort! Steve! Layla! Abort!" Dustin yelled opening the bus doors.

The two older teen started running back towards the bus, Layla turned to see Steve fighting some baby demogorgons so she shot at them. As she was shooting the creature going for Steve another came at her from her blind side and tackled her to the ground, Layla realized how much like last year this was. But she wasn't going down this time, she grabbed her knife and stabbed it into the creatures neck and twisted it till the thing dropped to the ground dead. Layla and Steve were both running side by side to get to the bus, jumping into the bus landing hard on the ground. Steve started barricading the door with more metal and his feet, while Layla stood at the front of the bus watching everything happen. Suddenly Max screamed looking through the top exit, Layla ran over pushing the kids away and aiming her gun up and at the creatures head. Before Layla could pull the trigger the monster made a scream and jumped down from the bus. 

"Did Steve and Layla scare em off?" Dustin asked breaking the silence 

"No way. Their going somewhere" Layla responded 

"Holy shit. Your arm..." Max said with a horror expression

"Huh? Oh shit. It's fine I'll just throw a bandage on it real quick"

"No, here. Let me" Steve said walking towards Layla's bag that always seemed to have medical supplies. He grabbed the bandages and sat Layla down, as he started wrapping Layla told him to do it tighter. Steve stared to wrap tighter like Layla ask, when she winced he stopped and looked at her, she just nodded saying she was ok so he kept wrapping. After checking everyone else was ok and unharmed the group began walking towards where the monsters ran, after a while Layla and Steve heard a noise coming from the woods. Both teens stopped in investigate.

"Uh... guys?" Steve said with no response form the kids

"Hey!" Layla shouted getting everyone attention. Everyone started following Steve into the woods when max said "Why are you guys going towards the sound?" no one responded and kept walking. 

"Do you really wanna stay here alone?" Layla asked the young red head. Max then started following the rest of the group into the woods. They continues walking realizing they were walking towards the lab, everything always has to come back to that damn lab Layla thought. As everyone kept walking they heard some talking, as they got closer they heard the person yell "Steve?" "Layla?" another voice yelled "Nancy? Jonathan?" Steve and Layla asked. 

"What are you guys doing here?" Nancy asked the group

"Could ask you the same thing" Layla said back 

"We're looking for Mike and Will" 

"Their not in there are they?" Dustin asked worriedly 

"We don't know. Why?" Before anyone could respond there was a growl from the lab.
