Saron, Sam and Dean waited for the janitor to lock the gate with a key attached to his belt, before he turned around and they followed him up a staircase.

"Sorry I'm dragging a little ass today, guys. Had quite the night last night." He chuckled, mostly to himself as he then paused mid-step to turn around and mutter, "Lots of sex, if you catch my drift."

Saron had the usual odd feeling in her stomach like usual as she locked eyes with the demigod for the first time. She wondered if he could feel anything up with her?

"Yeah, hard not to. Listen, we won't be long." Dean awkwardly continued the conversation, secretly signalling Sam behind the trickster's back. "We just need to check a couple offices up on three."

"No problem." The trickster nodded until Sam cleared his throat, thinking of his excuse.

"I, uh, forgot something in the truck. You know what. I'll catch up with you guys."

"Yeah, alright." Saron nodded at him, continuing to ascend up the staircase and distract the janitor whilst Sam made a move. "So, you were the one that found the body, I heard..."

Saron, Sam and Dean exit the building, Sam holding a newspaper and handing it to Dean, "Just 'cause he reads the Weekly World News doesn't mean he's our guy. I mean, you read it, too."

Dean shook his head as they stood outside the building, "I'm telling you, it's him."

Sam still looked skeptical despite Dean's determination, "Look, I just think we need some hard proof. That's all."

"Every time we encounter something like this I can always sense it, and like most of the time, I'm correct." Saron pointed out with a fake smile, before dropping it to a bitchface, which Sam returned.

Dean sighed at his brother, "Okay, another thing Bobby mentioned was that these suckers have a metabolism like an insect, a real sweet tooth, y'know, the opposite of puppy, over here." Dean gestured to Saron briefly, who gave him a look.

'Unnecessary.'

'But true.'

"Well, I didn't find any candy bars or sugar. Not even Equal." Sam replied.

"Eh, that's probably 'cause you missed something." Dean shot back with a simple shrug.

Sam glared for a moment, "I don't miss things."

"Oh, right, 'cause you're Mr Perfect."

"Can you guys argue in the hotel room? It's embarrassing to watch you guys fight." Saron quipped, rubbing her head as she suddenly had a sharp pain in it, distracting her a little bit.

Her eyes stung a little, as if they were on fire. After rubbing them, she looked off to the side for a minute back to the building, where she saw her. Again.

The little brunette child was innocently sat on the steps, looking up at her mother with her big brown eyes. Victoria's eyes were more captivating than ever, as this time she was even closer. Saron noticed how much closer and closer her daughter got to her each time she caught a glimpse of her.

Instead of fighting back the glimpses, she's letting them happen, hoping that if Victoria gets close enough... then maybe Saron could speak to her.

'She's not real. It's just an illusion. A vision of what we wanted, but can never have.'

'It must mean something. It has to. The Demon-'

'We haven't seen Him in years-'
