Season 3. Episode 5.

Bedtime Stories.

"I don't understand, Dean. Why not?" Sam angrily exclaimed, whilst Dean raced his Impala down the wet road. Sierra was in the back, pinching the bridge of her nose at Sam's ridiculous idea of killing the Crossroads Demon to get rid of Dean's deal.

"Because I said so." Dean fired back lowly, keeping his eyes on the road as his brother did his best to convince him.

"We got the Colt now!"

"Sam..." Dean warned, Sierra huffed and leaned forward.

"It's not going to work, Sam. Take it from the one who used to work with them."

"Exactly!" Sam pointed out, "You can help force her when we summon her. If not, then we pull the gun on her." Sierra frowned in disbelief, shaking her head.

"That's stupid, the Crossroad Demons won't do anything about the deal!" She seethed, "As soon as they see me they'll ignore you and try to kill me instead. I'm a fucking fugitive in their eyes."

Sam narrowed his eyes back at her, turning a little to face her better, "How would you know?" Dean tried to speak over his brother, but no one listened.

"Because I know how they work! I worked with them, what part of that do you not understand?"

Dean raised his voice louder, aiming his speech at his brother, "We don't even know if that'll work, Sam! If Sierra says it won't work, then it obviously won't!"

"Who knows if they told her everything when she used to work with them! Demons lie!" Sam argued back, Sierra grumbled as he spoke as if she wasn't behind him, "Then we'll just shoot her! If the Crossroad Demon dies then the deal goes away!"

"No it doesn't!" Sierra shouted, running her fingers through her hair in frustration as Dean continued.

"We don't know if that'll work either, Sam! All you're pitching me right now is a bunch of "ifs" and "maybes" and that's not good enough, because if we screw with this deal, you die!"

"And if we don't screw with it, you die!"

"Sam, enough! I am not going to have this conversation." Dean angrily stated, his voice getting firmer and louder.

Sam scoffed, tilting his head partially, "Why, because you said so?"

"YES, BECAUSE I SAID SO!" Dean shouted back, Sierra's eyes widened in shock and stayed silent as the siblings went back and forth.

"Well you're not Dad!" Sam yelled back, causing the car to go completely silent as Dean glared at him.

He parted his lips a moment, sharply inhaling as he then replied with, "No, but I am the oldest. And I'm doing what's best. And you're going to let this go, you understand me?"

They both continued to stare at each other angrily as Sierra's brows were raised in surprise again, her eyes flickering between them both. Sam turned away to look out the window in silence.

That was until he snarkily muttered, "Sierra's older, actually."

She scrunched her brows together and snapped her head towards him, "Exactly, and even I'm saying that we shouldn't go as well then!"

"ENOUGH!" Dean shouted for the last time, squeezing the steering wheel tightly. A few awkward moments passed until Dean, a lot calmer, spoke up again, "Tell me about the psychotic killer."

Sam was stubborn, so he just stared out the window in silence. Dean nudged his brother again, "C'mon, Sam, tell me about the psychotic killer."

Sam didn't look at Dean, he just grabbed a paper from his lap and read it monotonously, "Psychotic killer... rips victims apart with brute-like ferocity."
