season 3. episode 10.
Dream a Little Dream of Me.
Sierra and Dean finally found Sam in a bar after looking for him for a while. Sam was sat at the counter, nursing a glass of whiskey with no hope left in his expression. Dean walked over, brows furrowed.
"There you are. What are you doing?"
Sam turned to them with a shrug, "Having a drink."
Sierra widened her eyes a bit, glancing at the clock, "It's two in the afternoon. You never drink this early."
"And you're drinking whiskey?" Dean also pointed out.
"I drink whiskey all the time."
Dean shook his head, not believing him. "No, you don't."
"What's the big deal? You get sloppy in bars, you hit on chicks all the time. Why can't I?" Sam pouted, turning sloppily back to his drink.
Dean looked around to see that there were not many people in the bar; just the one woman by the bar, who's quite a bit older than Sam and Dean. "It's kind of slim pickings around here."
"Hey, age is just a number." Sierra raised her hands defensively - considering in a way she was over 100 years old.
Dean paused again, he always forgot how much older Sierra was, but it didn't bother him and he hummed before turning back to Sam. "What's going on with you?"
Sam shook his head and didn't say anything for a few moments. He looked completely lost. "I tried, Dean." Sierra pitied him a bit, Sam obviously wanted to save his brother, but deep down knew he couldn't. Dean hadn't caught on yet and looked a bit confused. "To save you."
Dean realised this was probably going to take a while, he pulled out two stools and sat down. Sierra sat down next to him as Dean asked for a whiskey from the bartender.
"I'm serious, Dean." Sam tilted his head to them, unconvincingly. He went to raise his glass and gulp the rest of the whiskey.
Sierra pushed his hand back down on the table so he couldn't have a drink, "Samson, you're drunk."
Sam just sighed sadly, looking down. "I mean, where you're going... what you're gonna become." He looked close to tears as he looked at his brother with a scoff. "I can't stop it. I'm starting to think maybe even Ruby can't stop it. But really, the thing is, no one can save you. Seems like you were right Sierra."
Sierra raised a knowing brow, "Is this a bad time to say 'I told you so'."
"This is what we've been telling you." Dean spoke instead.
"No, that's not what I mean. I mean, no one can save you, because you don't wanna be saved." Sam continued, pausing for a moment. "I mean, how can you care so little about yourself?"
Dean took it all in and scoffed, then smiled a little. Sierra felt him squeeze her hand on her thigh, she looked up at him sadly. They've only just started being honest about their feelings and now he's going. And Sierra felt like shit, knowing she's half-demon and can't even do anything to save him.
"What's wrong with you?" Sam whispered.
Dean looked over to meet Sam's eyes, but before he got a chance to say anything else, his cell rings. "Hello?...Yes, this is Mr. Snyderson..." Dean's face turned into a surprised expression."What?...Where?!"

They raced down to the hospital in a flash, not even moments later they stood over Bobby's hospital bed.
