After Sam stopped whining like a baby whilst Sierra was cleaning his scraped knees, the three of them headed back to the thieves' apartment to see if they have any idea of the woman. The skinny man that originally had the rabbit foot apparently died of an accident, slipping on a glass bottle and impaling his own head.
After questioning his grieving friend, Sam, Dean and Sierra exited the apartment block after finding little information out. Dean's phone started ringing, it was Bobby, who hopefully had better news.
Whilst Dean spoke to Bobby, Sierra stepped over a large wad of pink bubblegum on the ground. But Sam being his unlucky self, didn't see it and stepped right in it.
Sierra grimaced at the squishing sound, turning around to see Sam, deeply frustrated, lifting his shoe off the bubblegum.
Dean briefly looked over at Sam, grimacing at his brother and sharing a questioning look with Sierra before talking to Bobby again.
Sam then attempted to remove the gum off his shoe using a broken storm drain grating, but Sierra didn't think it would end well, "Careful, Samson, your shoe might come-"
Sam moved his foot too hard, dislodging his shoe and it dropped into the drain with a splash.
"-off."
Sam tried to retrieve it, but it was no use. He pitifully looked down the drain and glanced up at Sierra with his puppy-dog eyes, "Sierra..."
"I'm not putting my hand down there." She crossed her arms sternly.
"Please...?"
"Samson, no."
"Sari?"
Sierra sighed deeply, picking at her fingers and then deflating, "You're really hard to say no to, y'know?" Sam's brows were raised in a peek of happiness, "But it's still a no." His mood lowered again.
Dean then ended his conversation with Bobby, turning around to see Sam looking thoroughly dejected and Sierra fed up. "What?"
"I lost my shoe." Sam plaintively answered, pouting and looking down with his foot uncomfortably touching the ground.
Dean looked down at Sam's sock-clad foot and sighed in annoyance, rolling his eyes and turning away. Sam hung his head, Sierra approached him taking the unlucky boy's arm gently.
"Come on Samson, back to the car."
"But my shoe..."
"I know, I'll get you another pair."
"You need money for that."
"I'll steal some."
"Thanks?"

The Impala pulled into a parking lot outside a motel in the middle of the night, Dean finishing up another conversation with Bobby.
"Alright, Bobby, thanks. Hey, we owe ya. Another one." Dean then hung up, turning to Sam and Sierra, "Alright, Bobby's got it on pretty good authority that this Bela chick... lives in Queens. So it'll take me about two hours to get there."
"So what are we doing here?" Sam questioned confusedly.
"You, my brother and lovely puppy, are staying here 'cause I don't want your bad luck getting us killed.
Sierra frowned, "Why do I have to stay? Let me chase the hot chica for once."
"Because I trust you to keep an eye on him." Dean replied, driving the Impala into the main lot.
