The Nitron is a battery-operated fully-automatic flywheel blaster. Unlike many flywheel dart blasters, the Nitron only uses a single flywheel to propel discs, located on the right side; the left side has a spinning wheel, but it is not motorized and only serves as a bearing roller so the disc can be properly propelled by the flywheel without friction.
Built into the front of the blaster is a vertical foregrip, which cannot be removed. It also has an integrated shoulder stock which can store an additional magazine. An disc eject switch atop the blaster can be used when a magazine is not loaded to clear any jammed discs.
On top of the blaster is a tactical rail, where the included scope is intended to be attached.
