The Mediator Barrel is an air-powered blaster that can double as a barrel extension; unlike modern air-based blasters such as the ThunderBlast, it is powered like older air system blasters such as the Hornet AS-6. The top of the blaster houses the barrel and folds up against the top of the blaster for use. When the blaster is not being used as a barrel extension, the barrel can be lifted up and used as a grip.
