The Shadow ICS-6 features the return of an internal clip, seen in other blasters such as the Dart Tag Quick 16. It features a priming slide like the N-Strike Retaliator and Strongarm. Following the Ghost Ops series motif, its shell is transparent with green LEDs inside.
The blaster is compatible with both barrel extensions and stock attachments. It has four tactical rails: two on the bottom, and two on the right-hand side.
In contrast to some internal clip blasters such as the Han Solo Blaster and Rey (Jakku) blasters, the Shadow ICS-6 must actually be unprimed in order to load. This is somewhat similar to the N-Strike Mega Centurion, where the blaster's bolt sled is in the rear when unprimed, and moves forward to chamber a dart when primed. The bolt is spring loaded and snaps back to its original position after firing. Thus, there is no way to load the blaster when it is primed as the bolt blocks access to the clip.
