The Barricade is a battery-operated semi-automatic flywheel revolver-style blaster. It features a revolving cylinder that holds up to ten darts at a time. It also features compatibility with detachable shoulder stocks, and has a single tactical rail on top of the blaster. A jam door in front of this tactical rail allows the user to clear dart jams. Batteries load onto the left side of the blaster; a power switch can be found under the battery compartment.
The blaster's flywheels will begin spooling up when it is turned on; battery life can be conserved if the blaster is turned off while reloading. These will deactivate if the jam door is opened, to prevent injury. Jams can be a problem for the blaster, and the firing trigger can end up stuck as a result. This can be solved by turning off the blaster while clearing the jam. A stuck trigger can be fixed by fiddling with it until it pops back out.
The Barricade can be conveniently dual-wielded, due to the blaster only requiring a single hand for operation.
