The Mediator is a pump-action clip system blaster. It loads clips horizontally from its side, rather than the bottom, similar to the 2012 N-Strike Elite Rampage. On the side where the clip is inserted is an unjamming button.[2] It is compatible with detachable shoulder stocks and barrel extensions, and also has the ability to be slam fired.
It has one tactical rail on the top and right side of the blaster. It also has one sling mount on the top of the blaster and another on the end of the handle.
The Mediator may have trouble using N-Strike six dart clips, due to the design of older clips not used in the modern six dart clip.
