Y/n Pov

The trip to Jess's house wasn't long, only about fifteen minutes up the road. When I came to live with Bobby, her family moved to the next town too so me and Jess wouldn't have to go to different schools. We'd grown up together most of our lives, and after everything with my dad and uncle, they figured it would be best if I still had some family around. After all Jess isn't just my best friend, she's more like a sister.

I'm going to miss her so much, I know she's only going to be an hour away when she starts school down in Kansas in the fall, but we have never been this far apart since we met. I look out the window and let the memories of slumber parties, birthdays and holidays flow through my mind. The first holiday we won't be together for is the Fourth of July.

"Are you okay?" Dean asks next to me as he drives to her house. I look over at him and give him a weak half smile.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just really going to miss her, we've never been this far apart before, and it's just hard to say goodbye." I explain as I feel the tears prick in the corners of my eyes before we even get there.

Dean opens his arm and I slide in close to him, laying my head on his shoulder while he drives. "Don't think of it as goodbye, she'll be down there in the fall right?" He asks as he rubs my arm lovingly, I nod my head in his shoulder. "Exactly, I know it's hard princess, but when she has free time she is more than welcome to come visit. We'll pick her up or maybe Cas can even fly her in." Dean explains as we start to pull into her driveway.

I let out a breath and nod my head. "Wow, you're gonna let two girls stay in the bunker?" I joke, feeling a bit better.

Dean laughs and tilts my face to look at his as I sit up. "Y/n, I told you that I would burn down the world for you. I think having your friend over for a weekend is a little less dangerous." He says with a wink that makes me laugh.

"Thank you D, for everything. And I hope you know that I would do absolutely anything for you. No conditions. I love you Dean." I say before kissing him.

Dean kisses me back before pulling back a few moments later, looking at me me for adoration. "I love you too y/n. I know you would, which makes it my job to make sure you never have to. All I want is for you to be happy, that's my one and only condition. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." He says with a smile before kissing me again.

A knock on my window makes me jump as we break our kiss I turn to see Jess waving with a smile. "Hate to break up the love fest, but I believe it's my turn to spend some time with you before you up and leave." Jess says teasingly as I open the door to get out, making me and Dean both laugh.

I step out and Jess immediately wraps me in a tight hug. "I'm gonna miss you Jess." I say into her shoulder.

Jess hugs me tighter. "I'm going to miss you too babe. But hey, it's only for a few months, right?" She says as we hug.

I chuckle into her shoulder and nod my head. "Damn right. I don't know if I could go longer without you." I say, trying not to cry.

We sway slightly in our hug before Jess pulls back and puts her hands on my shoulders. "Come on, I'm sure you can find something to keep you busy." She jokes looking over at my shoulder at Dean, making me laugh.

I nod my head and smile. "Yeah I'm sure I can. But you have to promise to come visit too." I say nudging off her hands.

"Bitch please, you know I will." She says with a laugh. "As long as you promise to not make me go to all of the frat parties alone." She winks and pushes my shoulder playfully.

"Yeah, I don't know about all that." Dean says behind us. We turn to see him arching a brow and leaning on the top of the impala on his elbows.

We laugh and Jess steps forward to stand beside me. "Don't be a sourpuss Dean-o. You guys can come too." She defends with a laugh as she puts arm on my shoulder. "Just think of all the free beer." Jess adds with a laugh, Dean makes a look that looks like he's contemplating it.
