I looked at the two of them, glaring. "I won't let you hurt her."

Billy looked at me and tilted his head, just like he did in the costume. "Oh, baby, I won't," he said, leaning down and connecting his lips to mine. I gasped, feeling at peace with our lips melted together. Until he mumbled, "You will."

"What?" I asked, confused again as he grabbed me, turning me around to face Sidney. He put the knife in my shaky hands again, holding it tightly. "What are you doing?"

"Tatum and Sidney, they were never really your friends. They didn't actually care about you, not like real friends should," he said. Sidney started shaking her head, looking at us in fear. "They only put up with you because they felt like they had too. They never really liked you. So many times, they complained to us about you, right Stu?"

"Uh huh. They were jealous. See, all the boys in school liked you, you drew everyone in, and they didn't like that. They wanted the attention."

"He's lying," Sid said, but I could hear the hesitation in her voice.

"You guys don't like me?" I asked, looking at her with a broken expression.

She grabbed her hair, looking frantic, "We knew Billy and Stu were into you and were jealous! I'm sorry, Hazel! But we did like you! I do like you!"

I narrowed my eyes, feeling more tears prick my eyes before suddenly, the anger set in. "I was a good friend to you all. I was always there when you needed me." I said and she nodded, looking at me fearfully, glancing between my eyes and the knife that is still in my hands. "I moved to this new town and met these people and thought they were so nice and tried so hard to be a good friend. I was there for you when your mother died! I fell in love for the first time but kept my feelings to myself, because I am a good friend."

She cried more as I took a step closer, Billy coming with me but I barely even paid attention to him now. "I got fucking stabbed to save your life! And then I find out you didn't even like me?"I laughed bitterly, shaking my head. "I wanted to fix our friendship so badly, but I didn't even know that nothing could fix what was never fucking there!"

"Hazel, please," Sid begged.

I clenched my jaw glaring at her. Stu and Billy leaned in, both on either side of my head. "She doesn't care about you, Hazel." Stu said. "She only cares about herself."

"She's just like her mother. Do everyone a favor and get rid of her," Billy said.

Sidney cried more, practically trying to climb onto the counter to get away from us, and her father was screaming into the tape covering his mouth.

Billy moved us forward, the tip of the knife pressing into the skin of her chest. She breathed heavily, sobbing as she begged us to stop. "Please, Hazel, this isn't you. Please!"

My eyes darkened as I applied more pressure, feeling some resistance until Billy pushed too, and I felt her skin give out, the knife going deeper and deeper as Sidney cried out in pain.

The rush I felt as the knife entered her skin, the blood pouring out was insane. I felt my lip twitch upwards as I pressed further.

Then, Sidney reached her hand up, setting it on mine and Billy's, which were holding the knife and I looked up, meeting her eyes. I gasped, realizing what was happening and stopping. "No!" I cried, pulling the knife out. "Sidney, no, I'm sorry!" I tried to pull out of Billy's grip and he groaned before pushing me into Stu's arms.

"I guess I get to be the one to finish you off, Sid, how poetic," he said before simply slitting her throat. I screamed, seeing her looking at me with wide eyes, the blood pouring from her neck as she fell to the floor.

I was in shock, just staring at her, not even bothering to look when I heard the gunshot and Neil fell over behind me.

Stu let go of me and I sank to the floor, kneeling beside Sidney, trying to put pressure on her wound, but it was no use. She's gone. I looked up at the boys to see them looking down at me with guarded expressions.

"What the fuck is wrong with you two?" I screamed, standing up in front of Sidney.

"We wanted you to ourselves," Stu answered.

"So you killed everyone?"

Billy sighed, "Look, it's easier this way. We can leave here now, it'll be just us three."

I took a step back, away from them. "You think I'll just run away with you two? After you killed all of our friends?"

"Baby, I get it is a shock right now, but it'll all be okay," Stu said, his hand out as he took a hesitant step closer.

"No, you killed people! You tried to kill me!"

"We never meant to hurt you. The phone calls were just to give you a little scare, but you were never meant to get hurt," Billy explained, glaring at Stu.

"I didn't mean to push you into that table at Casey's. And tonight, that stab, I meant to get Sidney," he looked at my bloody shoulder with a pained expression. "I'm so sorry baby." I let him get closer, and he pulled me into his chest, rubbing his hand down my back comfortingly.

"This was all for a good reason, darling. You're safe now, and we can all be together," Billy said, standing beside us now.

I looked over at him, feeling my hardened exterior cracking. I know this is insane. They killed our friends. Brutally butchered them. They hurt and stalked me. But, when I look into their eyes, I see the sweet, goofy guys I fell in love with.

Slowly, I nodded. "But, are you sure we won't get caught?"

"No way, that's why we're all bleeding right now," Stu chuckled.

"We just need to clean a few things up, cover our tracks a bit and set the stage. Then, we'll just look like victims and we'll be home free." Billy ran his hand down my cheek as he explained, smearing more blood on me.

"Okay," I said. "Let's do this."

They both grinned, Stu leaning down and connecting our lips. That is until we heard the sirens blaring as red and blue lights shined into the windows. "Fuck!" Billy yelled, hitting the counter.

"We have to go, now," Stu said, looking between us fearfully. "Come on," he grabbed my hand, pulling me with them to the other side of the kitchen.

"Wait, I can't just leave my mom without a goodbye. Can't we just go out there? Your plan would work, wouldn't it? Framing Neil?"

Billy ran his hands through his hair before shaking his head. "We can't risk it, there's too much we need to finish. We need to leave."

"Hazel! Sidney!" I heard a faint yell come from outside.

My eyes widened. Dewey! He's not dead! "Dewey!" I yelled out, turning towards the front door, overwhelmed with happiness that he is okay. "Dewey! I'm in here!"

"Hazel! What are you doing?" Stu looked at me with a broken expression.

"Fuck it, come on Stu, we need to leave. We'll come back for her," Billy snapped. Stu frowned, turning to me and pecking my lips before rushing out the back door. Billy was about to follow before rushing over to me, connecting our lips in a quick but passionate kiss. "I promise, we will be back for you, final girl."

I watched as he followed Stu out into the dark, heading to the isolated trail that leads to Stu's old treehouse, where we used to hang out over the summer.

I gulped, looking after them, contemplating going after them until the front door busted open and police rushed into the house.
