Everyone went back to watching the movie until it was almost past curfew. People started packing up and leaving and I followed Stu to the door. "Happy curfew!" he said with a goofy grin after the last few people left. Only Randy and a couple people were left in the living room, still watching movies.

"Tatum! Come on!" Sidney called out, gaining no response.

"I haven't seen her for a while," I said, getting Sidney to look over at me.

"Me either," she mumbled.

"She got pissed at me and I think she bailed, did I forget to tell you?" Stu said, coming over to the two of us.

"Seriously?" I asked, looking at him in confusion. When did that happen?

"She left me?" Sid frowned.

"You can stay here, Randy still has a huge stack of movies," I offered, hoping she'd say yes. That's one step closer to her accepting my apology.

"Yeah, okay," she nodded, about to go to the living room when Billy popped out at the door, scaring us. "Jeeze, Billy!" she exclaimed.

"Hmm, Billy, what are you doing here?" Stu smirked, looking between the three of us.

"I was hoping we could talk," he said, looking between Sid and I. "All three of us."

"You know, why don't you go up to my parents room? You can talk or whatever," Stu said, winking at me and I rolled my eyes.

"Subtly Stu, look it up," Billy said, hitting him in the stomach.

Sidney spoke up, looking at us before nodding, "No, it's okay. I think we do need to talk."

Billy and I followed Sidney upstairs and we went into Stu's parents' bedroom. I shut the door, standing next to it nervously. Sidney sat on the bed and Billy stood on the other side of the room, next to the balcony.

"So," I mumbled, not knowing where to start.

"What's going on with you two?" she asked, cutting right to the chase.

"Well," I paused, nervous to tell her.

"I love her," Billy said, causing Sidney and I both to look up at him in shock. Why would he start it out like that?

"What?" Sidney gasped, looking between us.

"I've been in love with her for a while. Since we met really. I just didn't know how to break it to you," he told her and I cringed. Damn, I really did ruin their relationship.

"How long have you been together?"

"A couple days. Nothing happened while you two were dating," I said, wanting to make sure that was clear.

"So, you like him too?" she asked, tears in her eyes.

I nodded, glancing at Billy before focusing back on her. "I love him too."

She sucked in a breath before nodding, starting to get up. "I guess I should have known. All the signs were there. I was just too blind to see them."

"I really am sorry, Sid," I said and she shrugged.

"Me too."

Just then, the balcony door burst open and I looked up, seeing the killer behind Billy. "Billy! Look out!" I cried.

He turned around just as the killer reached him, stabbing his knife into his chest and then stomach. "No!" Sidney and I both cried.

I quickly grabbed Sidney's arm, pulling her with me as we ran out of the room, the killer hot on our trail as we ran down the hall. He grabbed Sidney's hair, pulling her back to him.

I felt the tug on her arm and turned, seeing him about to bring the knife into her chest. I yelped, pushing her out of the way just in time for the knife to go into my shoulder. I screamed out in pain and the killer removed the knife quickly, stumbling back as they just looked at me almost as if they were in shock.

Sidney grabbed my hand, pulling me into a room with her. "Fuck me, that hurt," I said, hissing in pain as I held my shoulder. Sidney was pushing things in front of the door before turning to look at me in shock.

"You saved my life," she said.

"Well duh, you're my friend," I said and she rushed over, pulling me into a hug, ignoring my yelp of pain.

Just then, the door started being pushed open, the things in front being moved forward a few inches. "Shit, we need to get out of here," she said, looking around.

"The window!" I said and she rushed over, opening it. We both looked down, seeing the Macher's boat covered in a large tarp below us. "Maybe it'll break our fall?" I questioned.

"Good enough for me," she said, climbing out as the door was being pushed open more and more.

She carefully made her way to the edge, lowering herself down so the fall would be shorter. She landed on the boat with a yelp, before looking up at me. "It's not bad, just come to the edge and hang down."

I nodded, psyching myself up as I started to crawl out, just as the door burst open. I held onto the window frame as I got my bearings on the roof, until someone grabbed my hand. Looking up I came face to face with the mask. He started trying to pull me in as I cried, pulling back. After tug of war with my good arm, I gave one last pull that made him lose his grip, and I lost my balance, falling backwards off the roof and onto the boat.

"Hazel!" Sidney yelled, coming over to where I was laying a few feet in front of her on the boat.

"Fuck," I mumbled, rubbing my head.

We looked up to see the killer no longer in the window and started getting off the boat, landing on the ground beside it.

That's when she looked up and screamed, stumbling backwards. I followed her eyes and my jaw dropped, tears instantly flowing down my face as I saw Tatum hanging from the cat door in the garage.
