The next morning, Billy was waiting for me outside on my porch. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked with a grin.

"I wanted to walk you to school," he said, taking my hand in his.

We walked hand in hand, talking about anything and everything, still trying to avoid the ever present reporters once we made it to the school grounds.

I noticed Sidney and Tatum getting out of Dewey's car. They glared at me once they saw Billy and I holding hands.

Stu walked over to them, trying to hug Tatum but she brushed him off. He rolled his eyes before making his way over to us. "Has she talked to you at all?" I asked him.

"Nah, but it's whatever," he shrugged, leaning down and giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.

I blushed, the two boys walking me to my locker. Sidney and Tatum were just leaving theirs when we arrived, so we didn't have to worry about their glares.

At lunch, the three of us sat at the fountain, just laughing and joking around, like always.

Between lunch and my next class I stopped by the bathroom to clean up my face after Stu "accidentally" smeared icing from a cupcake all over me.

"I think she made it all up, she was never attacked," one girl said as the toilet flushed. I furrowed my brows, stepping into a stall to listen.

"Why would she lie about it?" another girl asked.

"For attention. She has some serious issues."

"But what about Hazel? She was attacked too."

"Maybe she did it. Maybe Sidney killed Casey and Steve and attacked Hazel too."

I rolled my eyes at this. "Why would she do that?"

"Maybe she had a thing for Steve and killed them both in a jealous rage."

"Why would she do that? She has her own bubble butt boyfriend, Billy. And that doesn't explain her attacking her best friend."

"You've seen Hazel, all the boys fucking worship her. Sidney was jealous and wanted them all to herself." She chuckled. "Maybe she's just a slut like her mother."

"You're evil." I listened as the two bickered as they left the bathroom, the door clicking on the way out. I was about to leave the stall when I heard the door open and shut again.

I waited another moment before walking out, shaking my head as the girls' words swirled around my head. People are so messed up. Sidney would never do anything like that. And boys do not worship me! Jeze, where do people come up with this stuff? It sounds like the shit Gale Weathers talks about on her show.

I finished wiping off my face and washing my hands when I thought I heard whispering. "Hazellll."

I furrowed my brows, just now remembering I heard someone else come in. "Hazellll." I bent down, looking under the stalls but not seeing anyone.

"Is anyone there?" I asked before hitting myself in the head. Have I not learned from horror movies? Don't ask if someone is there!

Then I saw two black boots touch the floor and a black cloak lower down to cover them. "Fuuckk," I cursed, standing up and grabbing my bag quickly. The stall door opened and he walked out.

We both stood there for a moment, neither one of us moving. "Heyy," I breathed out. "Long time no see," I nervously chuckled, side stepping in the direction of the door but stopping when he moved closer. "My friends not good enough for you? Had to come to school because you missed me too much?"

Why do I have to be so stupid?

He tilted his head, but nodded, which caused my eyebrows to raise in surprise. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Is he joking with me right now?

He took another step closer and I backed up against the sink, gripping onto it nervously. I gulped as he kept walking until he was right in front of me. Shit, I really need to get out of here.

He stood right in front of me and I took in a shaky breath, leaning back as much as I could. He lifted his right hand, showing that same silver knife. He slowly lifted it up, bringing it up to my face, trailing it across my cheek. My breathing became erratic, my heart feeling like it'll beat out of my chest. "Wh-what do you want?" I asked, a few tears falling down my cheeks.

A mechanical noise sounded as he raised his left hand to the mask before he spoke in that same, terrifying voice. "I want you."

I looked over the mask, wishing I could just see who this is terrorizing me. I brought my lip between my teeth and a crazy thought came to mind. I nodded, gulping again. "Well, you're shit out of luck, because I'm spoken for!" I exclaimed, bringing my knee up and hitting him in the groin.

He stumbled back, doubling over in pain as I ran out of the bathroom, not stopping until I made it to principal Himbry's office.

I stood in the doorway, tears streaming down my face as I tried to catch my breath. Principal Himbry looked over from where he was yelling at a couple guys dressed in the killer's costume. "Hazel? What's going on?" Himbry asked.

"He's here," I cried, pointing behind me. "The killer's here. He was in the bathroom upstairs."
