When Wren awoke she checked her phone to find that Damon had asked to meet her at the grill. She got out of her bed in the Salvatore house and changed into navy jeans and a white vest top. She headed downstairs to find the house empty. An idea struck her, and she quickly reached for the nearest stereo, turning up Rihanna's 'Only Girl' as she prepared her breakfast.

She got ready to leave packing a small bag pulled on her shoes and left for the Grill. She ran into Caroline and Tyler who Elena had introduced to her. "Hey Wren," Caroline greeted shooting the girl a smile.

"Hey Caroline, Tyler." She nodded back in acknowledgment "You going to the Grill?" She asked the pair.

"Yeah," Tyler responded before Caroline could. "Got some top secret 'Vampire Business'" He continued with air quotations Caroline gave him a light shove. He gave her a playful smirk.

"I know what you mean, Damon asked me to meet him at the Grill" She responded.

The trio walked into the grill Damon was nowhere to be found so Caroline and Tyler walked over to go and see a man up at the bar. She could only just hear some of their conversation from across the room.

"Hey, Alaric" Tyler greets the man. as the pair walk over to a separate table.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Caroline responds looking at Tyler worried.

"This girl Mason knows stopped by the house. She said he never made it back to Florida. My mom is freaking out and she was on the phone with your mom when I left." Tyler responds truthfully to the girl in front of him.

The man whom Wren presumed was called Alaric continued to steal glances at them as he eavesdropped on their conversation.

"We should get going." Tyler suddenly said catching on to the fact that Alaric was eavesdropping on them.

"Yeah." The blonde responded. The pair got up and left almost as fast as they came in. Wren watched the whole exchange worried. She then got up and walked over to Alaric.

"It's not nice to eavesdrop," She said to him as he looked up at her from where he was sitting.

"I wasn't-" She cut him off before he could explain himself

"Yes you were, I watched you do so." She stated truthfully.

"Who are you anyway?" She asked him.

"Alaric, you can call me Ric, everyone does." He responded to the girl before him. He was perplexed as to who she was and voiced his question. "And who are you?"

Wren gasped dramatically and pretended to be offended that he didn't know who she was, he chuckled at this. "I'm Wren." She told him.

Just then all conversation stopped as Ric's phone rang. He looked at the caller ID to find it was Damon and picked up with a smile. "I have to tell you something." He spoke down the line.
