Damon had told Alaric to take Wren back to the boarding house. Wren put up a fight at the idea of this at first but soon calmed down and willingly got into Ric's car. While they were driving she forced Ric to turn the radio on to find it was 'Grenade' By Bruno Mars. Ric was forced to endure carpool karaoke.
Just when they pulled into the drive Wren began to scream in pain and the sound of bones cracking filled Ric's ears. "Wren! What's wrong?" He shouted alarmed. Instantly he started dialing Stefan as he knew Damon was busy with Jules.
"What's up?" He asked casually before the sound of Wren's screams was sent down the line. "Where are you Ric, I'm coming now."
"I'm in the drive Stefan-" Stefan hung up on him.
Within seconds he was outside the car. Ric opened the door so Stefan could carry Wren into the house. Wren's screaming hadn't stopped if anything it was getting louder. Stefan is trying to stop the pain and make it all go away. Tears are threatening to leave his eyes but he fights them back to help Wren.
"Leave!" She screams at the men as Damon walks in.
"What's wrong with her?" He asks his brother who shrugs worry enveloping his features.
"I don't know Damon." He said as Wren continued to scream and the sound of bones snapping and breaking was all that could be heard. "But I know she needs help."
"It hurts! Make it stop." She screamed as she tried to run towards Stefan for comfort. "Please Stefan, make it stop!" She tried to hug him but collapsed as more bones started cracking and breaking.
"It's gonna be ok Wren, okay listen to my voice," Damon told her she tried and focused on his voice as he told her it was going to be okay. As the pain began to stop, she attempted to hold his hand when suddenly, another thunderous crack echoed, accompanied by a scream.
She made an effort to relax, which seemed to reduce the pain. Hearing the sound of her bones cracking, she decided to accept the unbearable sensation instead of resisting it.
Suddenly she screams louder than any of the others she has let out. She makes things fly off shelves and moves furniture all around her in her pain. Her bones continue breaking. She opens her eyes and her normal blue eyes are now hues of yellow and gold and fangs start to extend from her gums.
"Leave! Please, I don't want to hurt you." She orders them. No one moves and she repeats herself.
Hair started to grow excessively from her arms and legs and as she closed her eyes she felt herself change almost fully into something not human.
A wolf.
In front of Stefan and Damon stood a wolf just where Wren had been only seconds ago.
Wren now had Jet black fur with white speckles instead of her normal brown locks. Her eyes were now golden. Wren started toward them but stopped as she heard the windows being smashed open as another wolf jumped through the now broken window.
