Everyone's eyes moved between Tori and I, her father seemed to have a smile while her mother's eyes narrowed.

She seemed to be a scary woman.

"Tori, you never call anyone bambina." Malia broke the never ending silence we found ourselves in.

"I agree. tesoro, è la tua ragazza?" Their father said widening his smile.
(Translation: sweetheart, is she your girlfriend?)

"No." She answered firmly.

"But bambina?" He questioned.

"Nothing more than that." She said softly.

My heart sank slightly. She really said it was nothing more than that.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to talk to you about something but I can come back another time." I said shyly.

"No!" Their mother and father said before Tori could even say anything.

"Let me wash my hands and we can go talk." She smiled softly.

"No it's okay, don't worry. I can come back." I said softly.

"Arabella—"

"Arabella, stay for dinner. You can make the sauce with Tori." Her mom said as her narrowed look softened with a small smile, similar to Tori's, growing on her lips.

"I—"

"Good, take this and come slice." She said cutting me short handing me an apron and two tomato's.

Malia and her dad let out a laugh and I tried not to let the smile slip through.

Everyone went back to talking like I hadn't just intruded on their space. Tori smiled at me and walked over to me. "Come." She said softly, placing her hand on my back and leading me further into her kitchen.

I cut up a few things with Tori by my side. We didn't talk much to each other but everyone around us was talking.

We put what we cut up in a pot and Tori did the rest. I watched her as she smoothly moved through the kitchen, stopping for mini conversation to her parents. Which were all in Italian, so I couldn't really understand.

Tori took her apron off and I didn't exactly know what to do. I'd been here for all of thirty minutes and didn't know what to do yet, other than the things I was told to do.

"Here, let me help you." Tori said behind me. She helped take my apron off. Letting her hands linger on my waist slightly.

"Thank you." I said softly.

"Let's go talk." She said setting my apron down.

I nodded and trailed behind her as we walks out of the kitchen.

She led us to the other end of the house where there was a balcony. It was massive. There was a black park like table and many plants around all potted perfectly in matte black pots.

On the railing of the balcony there was the signature 'S' of the saints and a cross.

The view from up here must be breathtaking at night, you could see almost all of city. I'm sure the lights brightened up the night sky from up here.

"So you came up here to talk?" Tori said in a smooth calm voice. If anything I would've expected her to be cold about it at this point.

"It's okay, it was stupid. I should go." I said not really wanting to talk about it anymore.

I could cope, nothing would slip. It would only be for a week right. Nothing more.

Tori moved up behind me, she placed her hands on my waist and her touch made me feel like a million little butterflies were invading my stomach.
