"Can I sit next to you." She asked me smoothly. I nodded.

She moved next to me and I looked at how her hard eyes softened. Her veiny hands rested at her sides with gold rings that filled her fingers. Her soft features on her face rested at ease.

The small arch in her eyebrows, her high cheek bones and her soft lips. They looked like they had a light tint of lip gloss on them.

"I don't want to make you cry again." She said softly breaking me away from staring at her features.

"You shouldn't." I said to her.

"I won't. I'm sorry. Very sorry, Arabella." She said softly placing a hand on my knee.

I felt a spark flow through my body.

"I don't like her." I placed my hand over hers.

"No more of her bambina." She interlocked our fingers and kissed my hand softly.

I stayed there for a minute just enjoying her presence. Her hand let go of mine and slid to my waist to pull me closer to her.

"Everyone is coming today. I shouldn't have assumed you'd be okay with them here. I'm sorry." She said as I laid on her shoulder.

She smelled like flowers, poppy's. It was soft yet strong. Something assertive yet welcoming if you stuck around to smell the softer accents of the scent.

"It's okay, it'll be okay, I admit I was thrown off but when I thought about it, it would be nice to see Anna." I said softly.

"That's good. Do you still want me to make sure you're busy?"

"No, I think I'll be okay. But thank you."

"Alright." She placed a soft kiss to the top of my head and I closed my eyes, taking in the moment.

A moment went by where neither of us said anything. Just stayed there and she held me close.

"Grio said our car is waiting." I opened my eyes to see Danica holding in a smile.

One thing about Danica is she's the type of friend that gets happy for you. If you're happy, she's twice the amount of happy. If you're angry, she gets angrier, if you're willing to murder someone, she's already called the cops to turn us in.

She's sad with you and hurts for you. But she's never afraid to get real with you.

If you've fucked up she lets you know and makes sure you get it. If you've hurt someone the way you were hurt she makes sure you know and make it right in an instant.

She's like my moral compass in this house. My best friend.

"Where are you guys going?" Tori asked coldly.

"Belle wanted to go pick up her friends from the airport." She said with a held back smile.

"Really?" Tori raised an eyebrow.

"I thought it might've been a good distraction from..." I trailed off and she immediately nodded.

"Alright, do come back quickly. There is an everyone meeting tonight at eight tonight." Tori said.

"Sure. Of course." Danica said and I nodded along as I stood up.

"I'll see you later." I said to Tori, she nodded and I took it as my sign to walk off.

Her hand caught my wrist, turning me back around. "No goodbye?" She raised her eyebrow and a smirk crept onto her lips.

"Goodbye Tori." I smiled at her shyly.
