"You kick me when I'm down!", Andre yelled. The song kick me was playing off his speaker and I laughed. We'd stopped at Starbucks and gotten double shot expressos. No fucking way we were sleeping tonight. Usually when this happened we'd all crash at one of our houses. Usually Andre's because his dad was an alcoholic and was never really there.

I decided I'd changed the angry music to something a bit more nicer. I played "the strays", by Sleeping With Sirens. Usually our music ranged from Bring Me the Horizon, Neck Deep, Sleeping With Sirens, and Pierce The Veil. Once the song was over I decided to play Drown by Bring Me The Horizon on repeat.

"Alright alright. Can we go back to our usual song please?", Adrian yelled from across the empty highway. We were spray painting road signs.

I rolled my eyes and smiled at him.

"Fine.", I said. Andre and I put on Do it now, remember later and jammed out.

I had spray "To The Land Of The Unnoticed", next to the word welcome. Andre laughed, looked down, and shook his head.

Andre had spray painted "We won't disappear", on the road dividers. Ana, Mackenzie, and Jarvis were laughing together because Jarvis had turned the "P" in Ana's word,"People", into a dick. We all just stared and laughed.

I turned to look away and saw headlights. Here we go.

"Headlights!", I yelled calmly. A bit irritated actually. Andre, Adrian, and I changed the music to King For a Day. It was a bit accurate.

Jarvis, Mackenzie, Adrian and I ran as Ana, Deonte, and Andre hopped in the SUV and drove away. Once we were safe Andre stopped and hand Jarvis, Mackenzie, Adrian, and I water bottles as we all laughed and came down from the unfathomable ecstasy our adrenaline had given us.

Andre's SUV was one of those white "rapist" vans. We all called it Felix. He'd gotten it from his dad. His dad had inherited it from his dad.

"PH?", Adrian asked us. A while back, when we weren't very good at getting away, Palm Harbor had caught a glimpse of us. Or at least they saw Felix. Back then we had spray painted The Outcast on one of the sliding doors. We have since painted over it.

"Yeah but how about we go here.", I said pulling the map of palm harbor that we had, out of Felix. I pointed to an abandoned quadrant of a sector of Palm harbor.

We'd separated Palm Harbor into two sectors. Each sector had quadrants. There was the prep sector and the alter sector. I was pointing to the lower left quadrant of the Alter sector. Both sectors knew who we were. They called us "The Outcasts, The Unnoticed, The Unwanted, or The disappearers", they called us outcast, unnoticed, and unwanted because those words were our trade marks. They called us disappear in Alter because we always managed to disappear completely.

We'd never actually committed a crime. Okay well maybe that a bit of a lie. One time the high school was separating girls and guys into different sports teams and it was causing a riot. Now though we may seem like the cool kids we were completely different people when we were around others. We didn't talk. We didn't ever act out. We did all of our work. Well all but Johnnie. We were good kids. We were good actors.

We all got pissed off so one day we went to the big sign outside I the highschool. It originally had said Welcome to Ridgemoor High School. But we sprayed it white with quick dry paint and ten minutes wrote "Welcome to Discrimination High". I'm good at calligraphy. Then we broke into the locker rooms. In the girls' we wrote "are we not good enough", in pink. And in the boys' we wrote, "football could use a little estrogen." We never got caught but a month later we all broke in and put a bunch of paint remover in the locked rooms.
