Maclean got back home to be welcomed by his siblings. They were soo excited to tell him something. He sat down with them.
Maxy:  Brother Mac can you please take us to Miss Anna's place tomorrow?
Nancy:  It's her birthday tomorrow and it's weekends. Please...
Maclean:  You don't even remember my birthday but you remember your nanny's birthday.
Maxy:  We celebrated with her last year, Mondy made us her special custard and it was soo good.
Maclean:  Alright but you have to take permission from your mum and dad.
Nancy:  Mum already agreed and even prepared gifts for us. Please accept please...
Maclean:  Alright then, tomorrow morning I'll take you there. [ they rejoiced making him excited]
                      Jackson's Residence
Cephas, Mondy and Louisa entered Anna's room the following morning as she was still sleeping. They held her hand and legs waking her up. They threw her up and down three times and wished her a happy birthday.
Anna:  Gees guys, you're unbelievable.
Mondy:  You're finally 24 years, you're now maturing though you act above your age. Being a mother, a father and an elder sister to us regardless. Anna we love you soo soo much. Happy birthday sissy. [ she hugged her ]
Louisa:  You never get tired of my stubbornness, always supporting and trusting me. You're beyond compare, the best sister ever.
Cephas:  Grow in beauty Bella. Can't love you less.
Anna:  Thank you guys for the love. You know you're the most important thing in my life. I'm no one without you. I love you all soo much. [ they shared a family hug ]
      Mondy and Louisa prepared lots of dishes as they had already planned a birthday party for her. Cephas fed her by himself when Reggie arrived there. He was happy to see his old friend.
Reggie:  My goodness dude! You're back. [ they had a guy handshake as they all looked on ]
Cephas:  Look at you my guy, you are a big man. Wait are you married?
Reggie:  Not really, I'm still single and searching. Oh wait happy birthday Annabella. [ he gave her a peck as Cephas smiled ]
Anna:  Thanks [ with a fake smile on, she excused herself and went to her room ]
Cephas :  Wait tell me what's going on? I heard Felix was with Louisa so why are you admiring Anna]
Reggie:  Things are complicated, she never accepted me. Guy we have a lot to talk about. But anyways let's make her day special and have fun.
     Immediately as Maclean and his siblings arrived they rushed inside to meet Anna as he parked his car well. Mondy came out on knowing he was there.
Mondy: Hi... [ she smiled ]
Maclean:  Hello, how are you doing?
Mondy:  I'm good. Mmm...I was wondering if you were still mad at me for the other days incident. I didn't mean to talk to you in that manner.
Maclean:  Relax okay, I don't hold any grudges against you. I understood your condition that day. I'm always rude when I'm angry but trust me you see a different soul when I'm okay. It doesn't justify my true self.
Mondy:  I see a different person talking, thanks. [ she hugged him, he was surprised]
Maclean:  Alright chill... [ they parted and she led him inside ]
Maclean:  Hello everyone!![ all eyes turned to him]
Louisa:  Hey Maclean welcome. Mondy...
Mondy:  Shut up!!
Anna:  Hey thanks for bringing them here, their presence means a lot to me.
Maclean:  My pleasure, Anna and a happy birthday too. [ she nodded ]
Cephas:  Rosemond any introduction?
Mondy:  He's a friend to us all, the brother of the kids and  [ she's stuck ]
Louisa:  And her crush.
Mondy:  What's the need of saying aloud. Anna you see that.
Anna:  Louisa stop that, don't just make things up.
Reggie:  I don't think she's making that up, it's written all over her face.
Cephas:  Someone is in love. [ the kids laughed, Mondy turned to Mac feeling shy ]
Reggie:  Let the party begin, please let's start eating. [ all laughed ]
   They all gathered around playing ludo but Maclean sat in the couch eating the custard and it seemed he's been eating that since he came. Anna walked up to him, he smiled on seeing her.
Maclean:  I'm not a foodie okay, I just love this recipe. [ she sat beside him ]
Anna:  Mondy's special recipe, everyone loves it. Sorry to bother you though but Nancy made mention of a new mom to me. [ he looked on ] Did you find a new nanny for them?
Maclean:  No, this one is different. She's Kathy and eventually their real mother. [ Anna was surprised]
We share different mothers, it was my mum who raised them. [ she nodded ] They have no idea about this so please keep it a secret.
Anna:  Sure, I'm happy for them though. I hope they're able to love and accept her as their mother.
Maclean:  That will depend on her.  [ she nodded] So tell me, how's your new life from Osman.
Anna:  It's great as I have the support of my family. I trust everything will be okay.
Maclean:  You'll do just fine. [ Maclean noticed how Reggie stared at them. Louisa was also looking at Mondy burning with jealousy ]
   They had fun till evening when the kids were already sleeping. A knock was heard on the door, Cephas opened and let Victor in.
Anna:  Vicky... [ she went to embrace him ] I can't believe you're here.
Victor:  I had to rush here the very second I had, happy birthday pretty one. [ giggles were heard from behind. He handed over a present to her ]
Reggie:  Innocent bad boy, you still stick onto her like always.
Anna: Cut it Reggie, you know he's better than you that's why I chose his friendship.
Mondy:  Love triangle
Anna: Mondy... [ she apologised with a smile]
      Victor left in no time, Reginald also went home and the tipsy Cephas went to sleep so did Louisa. Mondy chatted with Maclean at the hall as Anna checked on the kids.
Mondy:  So you own Lilies Resort Hotel? [ he nodded] wow that's incredible. A boss on your own, no doubt how bossy you're.
Maclean:  I'm not, please don't say that to me again.
Mondy:  Well I'll try sir. [ there was a moment of silence] Mmm... about what Louisa said before, hope it isn't a bad thing.
Maclean:  Of course crushing on someone isn't a bad thing, it doesn't even mean you like the person.
Mondy:  But I like you, from the first day I met you. [ he stared on ] Please say something.
Maclean:  You different from all the girls I've met. Most girls throw themselves at me
Mondy:  I'm not doing that
Maclean:  That's what I'm saying, you're different. You are bold and courageous. [ she smiled ] But I'm not really interested in relationships. I have to much on my head and...
Mondy:  I understand, you don't need to explain. Anyways good night, see you some other time. [ she stood up and left]
    Anna woke the twins up and took them inside the car with Maclean's assistance. They slept comfortably at the back seat.
Anna: I'm still thanking you for today, you made my day special.
Maclean:  You deserved it, try to be happy always. It shows your beauty and tells your story.
Anna:  Okay and one more thing, she likes you. I overheard what you both were saying, you hurt her feelings.
Maclean:  I'm sorry but I didn't mean to.
Anna:  No no no... you did nothing wrong. But I'll only advice you not to take any decision in haste. I know my sister, when she loves it's with her whole heart and mind. Please don't hurt her if you decide on something.
Maclean:  Okay I promise you that. [ they smiled at each other] Good night Anna.
Anna:  Good night, please take care. Drive carefully!
[ she waited till he left the compound before coming back inside to sleep]
