                       Jackson's Residence
Maclean came over to meet Anna the following morning. She was staying home to look after Louisa when Mondy and Cephas left for work.
Anna:  Why are you here?
Maclean:  Mmm... Mondy told me about Louisa's accident so I came to see how she was.
Anna:  She's fine now, she lost the baby though. [,they sat down ] She just slept after taking her medications.
Maclean:  I'm happy she's okay now. What about you, how are you feeling?
Anna: I'm okay, I was a little scared but now I'm good. [ she smiled ]
Maclean:  I'm happy you're, that your smile melts my heart always. [ she looked on ] Anna I need to let you know something. [ he took her hands] I don't know if this is the right time or not but I can't hide it anymore. Growing up I've been scared of falling in love due to what happened to my mother. I'm scared of being like my dad and betraying someone who loves me.
Anna:  What are you trying to say?
Maclean:  All I'm saying is that being with you makes me want to be a better person. You've changed me completely with this few months we've been working together. Anna I don't know when this started but I've fallen for you. [ she shocked ] This might sound silly but it's the truth. I want you... [ he drew closer and kissed her on the lips. She pulled herself away and stood up ]
Anna:  No this is not right, you can't do that.
Maclean:  I'm sorry... [ she looked away ] I got carried away but I didn't mean to disrespect you. Anna please don't...
Anna:  Can you please leave me alone? Please...
Maclean:  Fine [ he left as she looked away from him . Anna could feel her heart beating faster]
   In the evening when they all had dinner Anna was lost in thought.
Cephas:  Did you loss your appetite? [ she shook]
Anna:  I'm not hungry, I ate a bowl of ice cream with Louisa today and I'm full. [ they nodded and went inside. She stood in front of the mirror recalling the kiss. It was her first kiss ever.]
Anna:  What's this feeling? Oh my God this can't be, Anna you can't love his son too. Huh! How dare him do that? [ she slept on her bed and buried her face in her pillow]
                      Can's Apartment
Maclean told Evelyn about his outburst to Anna and she was soo excited.
Evelyn:  But wait, I thought you liked Mondy rather.
Maclean:  Naa I enjoyed her company, she's bold but the connection wasn't there.
Evelyn:  And I clearly remember you sat at this exact place and said Anna wasn't your type of girl. [ he smiled ] So what happened?
Maclean:  Evie this feeling is different. I don't care how she is, I'm in love.
Evelyn:  Woo... look at you. But I'm happy for you. You guys make a lovely couple. [ junior stared at them] Baby your brother is in love. [ he just laughed making them laugh as well]
                    Coleman's Cottage
Victor returned from work very tired, he laid his head on his granny.
Bernice:  You look really tired my boy, let me get something for you to eat.
Victor:  No granny, I want to stay here like this.
Bernice:  Are you still thinking about the pretty lady?
Victor:  Yes granny, I really love her and I don't know how to make her mine.
Bernice:  The only advice I can give you is to move on. She only regards you as a friend and you have to respect that. And one more thing, if you keep on being stubborn you can lose her forever. You might even lose the chance of being her friend. So if you want to have her around, make decisions wisely.
Victor:  Okay granny, thanks. [She massage his head smoothly]
