Reunion

                             Osman's Building
Anna took permission to check the CCTV footage of the company. He gave the go ahead and without questioning her. She had the copy of the incident and left it to Mr. Osman to deliver it to Maclean. That evening Maclean came over to the company when his dad called.
Maclean:  What's up dad? [ he sat down. He turned his laptop to him ]
Osman:  Anna left this footage for you, I got curious and opened it. [ Maclean witnessed exactly what happened and was angry ] Did you ask Anna out off the party yesterday?
Maclean:  I messed up, I was so angry when I saw the video. I overreacted dad even without listening to her.
Osman: Son there's one advice I can ever give you. Anna is the best wife you can ever get in this life, she has a heart of gold and never gives up. I made a mistake once by laying my hand on her. She apologised despite not being at fault. When I learnt about the truth from Ethel, my respect for her grew up. Don't loose a precious gift like her.[ he nodded ] I hope I raised a fighter? Don't spare him for insulting my daughter in law. [ he laughed] Go and make things right son. [ he thanked him and left]
   Maclean slowly walked to Victor's desk, he made a fist and hit him. He stopped everyone who tried to come close. They started a fight, Mr Osman came out when he felt it was okay. He asked Maclean to leave and Victor to go back to his work.
                     Jackson's Residence
Louisa opened the door to see Maclean, he was badly hurt. She let him very scared, Anna stood up on seeing him. She examined his face.
Anna:  What happened to you? [ she sat him down] Louisa get me the first aid. [ she went on and got it]
Who did this to you? [ she cleaned his wound softly]
Maclean:  I'm sorry for not listening to you love. I should have believed you. [ she just went on with caring for him. Louisa left them alone] Love...[ she stopped him from touching her ]
Anna:  Relationships are based on trust. I thought you trusted me but I was wrong. [ she stood up and turned away and smiled] I'm sorry but this relationship can't go on anymore. [ he got up ]
Maclean:  What Anna! [ he stood in front of her and held onto her hand] You can't do this. You love me and I also love you.
Anna:  Love is not always enough. The only thing I asked from you was to trust me and you couldn't.
Maclean:  I promise I won't doubt you from now onwards, please love. [ she pushed him away] Are you really breaking up with me. [ Mondy stood behind laughing slightly]
Anna:  Yes... [ Mondy came over to them]
Mondy:  You've done enough already Anna. [ both girls laughed] Don't mind her she's just joking around. You made my sister cry her heart out yesterday so I suggested she thought you a great lesson. Trust me she's addicted to the sport line and can't live without you. [ he was relieved]
Anna:  I dare you to leave me! [ she went over to hug him, Mondy looked on happily]
Mondy:  But what happened to your face?
Anna:  Vicky Coleman, shocked huh!
Reggie:  You shouldn't be, it was Anna who decided to pay a blind eye to him. For me I knew his real self.
Anna:  I thought you hated him.
Reggie:  And who said I didn't hate him. He was always on my nerves but I was quiet because of you. If not I would have smashed his head. [Anna went to him and hugged him ]
Anna:  I'm sorry Reggie, I've been a bad friend of late. Despite how cold I was you stayed with me.
Reggie:  Due to my stupidity I lost my wonderful friend so I decided to make things right. And also I didn't realise the precious gold in front of me. [ he looked in Mondy's direction. Anna followed his gaze and nodded]
Anna:  I see... [ she came back to Maclean and embraced him tightly]
    Two days later Anna watered the flowers in front of the house when Victor arrived there. She dropped the can and moved closer to him.
Anna:  You have no right to come here, leave my house now.
Victor:  You've succeeded in ruin my life but I want you to that I won't make you happy either Bella. [He took out a bottle but Felix got there on time. Before he would throw the substance at her he pushed him from behind making him drop it. Anna noticed it was acid when it spilled on the floor. She screamed out as everyone came out.Cephas got hold of Victor, Anna shivered in fear. Mondy called the police for him, they came to take him away when Felix narrated everything to them ]
      They all came inside, Anna was still in fear. Mondy rubbed her back vigorously and gave her some drugs.
Louisa:  Should we take her to the hospital?
Mondy:  No she'll be fine. [ Mondy took her inside and waited till she slept. They thanked Felix for saving her on time]
    It was evening and Anna still slept. Mondy said it was because of the drugs she gave her. Maclean sat with her when she finally woke up. She broke down in tear and jumped into his arms.
Maclean:  It's alright love I'm here with you.
Anna:  Please don't leave my side, I'm really scared.
Maclean: I'm not leaving your side anymore. He can't hurt you also. Relax... [ Louisa brought in food for them. Maclean offered to feed her ]
Anna:  He wanted to destroy my face. It was strong acid and [ she cried]
Maclean:  Forget what happened, he couldn't hurt you. You're fine! You hear me, you're okay. From now onwards there's no one like Vicky. It's you and the people who love you. We're here to protect you.
[ she nodded] Now eat your food and wake up tomorrow as the Anna we all know and forget that something even happened. [ she agreed, he went on and fed her ]
    Anna woke up the following morning as she smiled as she was in the arms of the guy she loves. She touched his face and cute lips. He opened his eyes and looked at her.
Maclean:  Are you trying to take advantage of me in my sleep. [ she drew back ] If you had asked I would have gladly given myself up.
Anna:  Naughty, I was only admiring my boyfriend. I thought of how I'll always wake up beside this handsome gentleman. Kiss him good morning and stay by his side all day long.
Maclean:  We can make it reality if you accept to be my wife. My dear misses... [ she smiled, they heard a knock on the door. Mondy informed her she had some visitors. She came out together with Maclean after sometime.  There was Victor's granny and brother, she looked away. ]
Bernice:  My dear please forgive him, my grandson is not a bad person.
Lawrence:  Anna you know him, he's not evil.
Anna:  I don't know anyone [ everyone looked on ] Only heavens know what would have happened if someone didn't come here. I'm sorry granny but your grandson is a monster. I would never forgive him. Larry, just be in my shoes for once and understand how I feel.
Bernice:  My dear [ Anna cut in ]
Anna:  Please granny, I can't help you. Larry for the little respect I have left in me please take your granny away. [ she insisted but Larry took her away ]
Louisa:  Poor woman, she must be suffering.
Anna:  Louisa those emotions will hurt you. Don't feel sympathy for anyone, life is cruel.
Mondy:  My sissy!!!
Cephas:  Of course you're the only that enjoys this bad side of her. [ Anna smiled, Maclean put a consoling hand on her shoulder]
