The following morning they all got ready to leave. The guys packed their belongings into the van. Anna was still in the tent looking for something when Maclean arrived, she was soo tensed.
Maclean:  What are you still looking for? Let's go everyone is waiting.
Anna:  I'm coming just a moment.
Maclean:  Anna...what is it? Let me help you look for it. [ she bent down as she spoke]
Anna:  I'm looking for the engagement ring, I don't know where I put it.
Maclean:  Huh! You lost the ring. [ she stood up ]
Anna:  Why are you screaming, it's just a ring. And it's not lost, it's here somewhere and I'll find it. Just give me some time.
Maclean:  How can you be this careless. You don't value this relationship at all. [ she stared on ]
Anna:  You don't insult me because a simple ring. I said I'll find it so just relax.
Maclean:  Everyone is waiting.
Anna:  Can you keep shut! You all can go and leave me here. This ring is important to me just as it is to you so until I find it I'm not coming. [ they heard their voice from outside. Mondy and Cephas came inside to check what was wrong]
Mondy:  Guys what's going on? Your voice can be heard from a distance. Anna...
Maclean:  You shouldn't talk to me like that. And you shouldn't have taken it off in the first place if it mattered to you. [ he walked out, Anna was teary ]
Cephas: Tell us what happened. [ they helped her look for it when she told them everything. She found it and came to join the van ]
      Maclean sat beside Flora instead of Anna, he was really mad at her. Both were quiet all along when the happily converse in the van.
                      Jackson's Residence
They all arrived home safely. As they dragged their belongings out, Anna tried to talk to Maclean.
Maclean:  Look Anna, I'm not ready to talk to you.
Anna:  Hey look I found it. It was in the story I read before going to bed. Love I'm sorry for raising my voice despite being at fault.
Maclean:  Just let me be. I hate your sight. [ he left ]
   In the evening Anna sat in the couch looking at her phone from time to time. Cephas came up to her, she was disturbed.
Cephas:  Expecting his call or text? Anna don't think he's also taking it easy wherever he is. You yelled at him for voicing out his dislike. You knew very well you were at fault.
Anna:  I already apologised but he asked me to leave him alone. I'm not at ease at all.
Cephas:  Relax, he loves you so he'll surely come around. Please go to bed.[ he tapped on her shoulder while leaving , he turned back ] Anna!
Anna:  Yeah!
Cephas:  Thanks for having me. [ she only smiled at him. She received a text from Larry, she went to sleep after reading the message ]
                     Coleman's Residence
Anna knocked on the door, Larry opened a let her inside. He helped with the stuffs she brought.
Anna:  Where's your granny?
Lawrence:  She's inside sleeping. I'm grateful that you came to visit despite everything. [ he went on his knees] Anna please save my brother. He's the only hope we have. You know I don't work and Victor is the only who cares for the family. Now I'm unable to buy granny's drugs, she's getting weak each and everyday. Please Anna, have mercy upon us. [ she cried seeing him cry, she stood him back on his feet]
Anna:  You don't have to do this, I'm only human and who am I not to forgive him. I'll forgive and forget everything because of you and your granny. I only hope he thinks about you the next time he tries anything stupid again. Also I'll offer you a job in my company so you can assist your granny. [ he was teary and surprised ]
Lawrence: Are you sure about this? [ she nodded] Thank you so much Anna [ he went on his knees]
Anna:  No stand up, Larry we are friends forgotten. I'm very happy to help you. [ she made him stand up] Remember back in high school, you helped me with studies and so many more. You were soo intelligent and I understand your situation now. People refuse to offer you a job because you're lame. But they shouldn't judge you, you didn't cause your accident. [ she wiped his face ]  Take a chance now.
[ he embraced her tightly ]
                     Jackson's Residence (4 weeks later )
There's a knock on the door, Cephas opened to find Vicky at the door. He was soo angry, he held his collar.
Cephas:  You bastard how dare you show your face in this house again. [ Anna and Mondy rushed out to them. Anna stopped him from hitting him ]
Anna:  Cephas stop it! You shouldn't do that.
Mondy:  Anna you are still siding with him.
Anna:  No I'm not, I just don't want him to stain his hands with sin. Cephas please...[ she then turned to face Victor] You shouldn't be here.
Victor:  Anna I only came to apologise and thank you for everything. Please hear me out!
Anna:  Just leave and never show your face to me. Vicky stay within your limits. Now leave! [ he turned away and left. She shed tears]
Mondy:  You shouldn't cry. He doesn't deserve your tears. [ she wiped her tears]
Anna:  You're right. He doesn't even deserve my friendship. [ they went inside]
  It's in the evening, Anna sat quietly looking at the ring on her finger. Louisa arrived.
Anna:  Hey dearie, welcome. [ she sat with her ] How did it go ?
Louisa:  I didn't expect it to be too hard to see him leave. I'm really going to miss him. [ Anna smiled ]
Anna:  Get something to eat from the kitchen. I'm going to get something from the supermarket. [ she nodded and went on ]
                       Lilies Resort Hotel
Anna walked inside and came to the receptionist. She had a VIP card to meet Maclean. They lead her to where he was. To her dismay she saw him having dinner with a lady. As she walked in he stood up.
Maclean:  Love...is something wrong?
Anna:  I should be asking you that. What's gotten into you? You shouldn't have ignored me. If you had told me you weren't coming because you were having a good time I wouldn't have waited for you.
Maclean:  Love I'm sorry. Diane is just an old friend, I met her today after a long time.
Anna:  It still doesn't justify why you stood me up. I guess I have the answer to your sudden change.
[ she turned to leave ]
Diane:  Miss please wait, I'm sorry for what I've caused but please don't get angry with him. [ Anna cried ]
Maclean:  Love please. [ she relaxed and sat down to talk to him. They were served hot coffee and he covered her up with his jacket] Are you okay?
Anna:  I'm fine [ she pulled herself away]
Maclean:  Love I'm sorry. I've been busy of late but you don't know how I wanted to be with you. Please don't get angry with me.
Anna:  You're lucky I love you. [ he smiled]
Maclean:  I'm sorry about Diane, I was carried away when I saw her. We actually went to the same high school, she was the only female I could talk to. Please don't be jealous.
Anna:  I wasn't jealous. I was only thinking about you, you've been distant of late. First about the incident at the trip. Then you were mad I helped Larry and bailed Vicky. It seems you're getting tired of me. [ he shook ]
Maclean:  Never, hey love look at me. I'll never get tired of you. I'm even scared of losing you. See I'll turn blind eye to everything you do. I don't want to lose you because of any little issue.
[ he embraced her and kissed her all over]
