Christopher BrownIts been a month since me and Nika broke up and I'm missing her like crazy. Kae thinks we're growing closer now that Nika's out the picture, but its just getting worse and worse for me.
I sighed, sitting in my car outside her house, debating whether or not I should go in. I told myself not to worry because she probably misses me. Fuck it, I told myself and got the courage to go up on her porch. I took out the key she gave me and unlocked it, pushing it open slowly. I locked it behind me and almost died when I seen her friend on the couch asleep. I tip toed up the steps to her room.
I peeked inside at her under the covers. She looked so sweet and beautiful. I walked in the room and got in bed with her. "Nika I'm so sorry. You just don't know." I made the biggest mistake by kissing her. She turned over and looked me in my eyes.
"Chris, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I-"
"Get out!" She pushed me off the bed onto the floor.
"Baby"
"Get the fuck out my house Christopher! I'm done with you! Go back to your girlfriend!"
She basically ran me down the steps. "Nika I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry too. Sorry that I met you." She pushed me out the door. It thundered and started pouring down raining. I walked back to my car with my head held low.
I sat in my car for 10 minutes yelling and screaming for no apparent reason. I just needed Nika in my life.

I stood in the living room watching out the window at Chris. He was throwing a fit in there. I feel like I needed to do something. I sighed, grabbing my rain coat and tennis shoes. I jogged out there and knocked on his window. He unlocked the door and I slipped in.
"Nika I'm bout to leave." He said glumly putting the key in the ignition.
"Wait before you leave I just wanted to tell you I forgive you but we can't be together."
"Why not?"
"You already have a girlfriend. You don't need me."
"Onika I do need you. I want you."
"Chris if you really wanted me, you would've gotten rid of her."
"I know." He mumbled.
"Look we can still be friends. You can come around when you want or when you need to talk but we can't be together. Not as long as you're with her."
"Foreal?" I nodded and slightly smiled. He smiled brightly and hugged me tightly.
"Okay I'm gonna go back to bed."
"See ya Nika." I got out the car and he waited until I got in the house to leave. He is so weird. I pulled off my jacket and shoes and went back to my room.
6:11 a.m.
I stood over the stove in nothing but my robe cooking breakfast for me, myself and I. I stuck my finger in the pancake batter and tasted it. I liked the taste of this. I picked my phone up off the microwave and put it between my ear and shoulder.
"Hello."
"Hey Nika."
"Hey Chris." I smiled.
