"Yea we'll be there in a minute. Aight. Bye."

"Who was that?"

"That was August. He wanted us to come to his house. Him and Nika got somethin' important to tell us."

"Well you can go."

"Kae he said us. Which means both, so get dressed and lets go."

"Chris you can't make me go. I don't like her anyway."

"Kae I swear to god, if you don't get dressed, I'm putting yo ass out my house. Now get up and go get dressed." She sucked her teeth and walked upstairs. I swear, shorty be leaning on my last nerve.

"Ready." She came downstairs. "Good lets go." I grabbed my keys and phone and we left out the house.

Like always we were the last ones to arrive. "Come on y'all. We bout ta' get started." Me and Kae took a seat on the couch. August and Nika was standing in front of the table.

"Um I guess you all are wondering why you here." Nika started. "And yesterday we found out that..."

"I'm pregnant." She finished. Ion know what came over me but I stormed out the house.

I ran after Chris out the door. "Chris what's going on with you? Aren't you happy?"

"No! I'm not! I'm fucking mad!"

"Why?"

"Because I'm watching the woman I love start a family with my best friend! This was supposed to be me and you! Not you and August!"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know." I whispered.

"I know you didn't cause it was my fault. It was my fault for not being in the first place."

I couldn't say anything else. I just walked back in the house where everybody congratulated me on the pregnancy. "I'm gonna be an aunt! I can't believe this!" Chyna screamed.

"Me neither." I mumbled. "Ya aight babe? Did he do anything?" August whispered. I shook my head.

"Anybody wanna go out for dinner?" I suggested.

"Yea!"

"Okay we should all be ready by at least 7:30 and be at the restaurant at 8:00, we mean it this time." Michael and Chyna left and Karrueche came up to me.

"Congratulations Onika. I'm happy for you both." She even cracked a little smile. "Well me and Chris should get ready." She walked out the house.

"Dat was unexpected."

"Mhm. Well we gotta get dressed."

I swear this is the best day of my life! Now that she's pregnant, Chris is gonna lose interest and start paying more attention to me! Yay!

"Chris you should be happy for her. She's moving on and starting a new life, her own life."

"I am happy. But its not fun seeing the woman you love with your best friend."

"You love her?"

"Yes I do."

"I thought you loved me."

"We should get dressed. Its almost time."
