College overall has been an amazing experience so far, but this week has been terrible. I've had 5 exams in 4 days and have been studying nonstop since last week. There's also been a crazy amount of reading in one of my classes and juggling between all of this has been ridiculous.
In my overexerted week I have talked to Jer on the phone three times and two of them were me having panic attacks. We've been texting, but honestly he's not been the majority of my focus and it's driving me crazy.
I know that he understands, but it doesn't make me feel any less bad about it. He's been cute about it though; he got flowers delivered to me and door-dashed coffee to my dorm which happens to be the highlights of my week.
It's Thursday and my last exam ended a few minutes ago. I went straight to my dorm to sleep off this terrible week. It's only 2pm but this nap is what I need right now if I want to keep my plans with my friends later.
I just woke up from my nap I'm more comfortable in my twin bed then I've ever been. My bed is warm, there's arms wrapped around me, and the– wait why is there arms around me? I rolled over to find a smirking Jeremiah Fisher.
"Surprise," he whispered and my heart dropped to my feet. I threw my arms around him and almost instantly started crying.
"Are you real?" I asked and he laughed as he ran his hands through my hair.
"Very real, angel," he replied and I pulled him even closer, trying to stop the tears rolling down my face.
As I finally started to get my emotions in check I whispered, "Thank you J," and he shook his head.
"Never thank me for showing up," the boy replied quietly and I shook my head as I pulled away a little to look at him.
I rolled onto my back and Jer rolled over onto me, resting his head on my chest so I would play with his hair. I started playing with his hair and just laid there looking up at my ceiling trying to capture this moment in my memories forever.
His hands trailed my sides under my shirt and I never wanted to let him go. It's these little moments that I want to bottle up and keep in a locket forever. I want this boy to never leave my side and I never want to leave his.
Anyways after a couple minutes of soaking in his presence, a few kisses, and a nice massage we finally got up to go get coffee.
When I got out of bed I looked over and noticed my flowers from earlier this week had been replaced, my laundry was put away, and everything that had been haphazardly laid out was organized. It took everything in me to not start crying again and I opted to hug my boyfriend again.
"You're my favorite person," I stated and he grinned.
"I better be," he retorted with his smug smile that I rolled my eyes at playfully. "Hey–" he started to say and threw me over his shoulder.
"Seriously?" I asked through my laughter and I could feel him laughing as he threw me back on the bed. The two of us couldn't stop laughing as he hovered over me, but that changed as he kissed me.
We kissed until neither of us could breath and only then did we pull apart, "Let's go get that coffee Kens," he offered and I smiled.
"Mhm," I agreed, pecking his lips before sliding out from under him. I didn't bother changing out of my shorts and t-shirt. I just put on some shoes and brushed my hair as I waited for Jer to get what he needed.
