(Poem by me)
There used to be a time
Where darkness enveloped my heart
And misery dominated my art
The abyss' offers, I did not decline
Hatred boiled in my veins
Eyes filled with envy and disdain
Then, I saw the sunrise
I bask in the sunlight
Hope has entered my mind
Showed me the good of my kind
Now, all this has become so light
Flowers bloom, when it shines
Mother Earth calms her babies' cries
Realised, peace is not mundane
Letting go of past hurt
Forgiving past enemies
I have no interest in negativity
Of a dream ending, I am worth
Rainbows shine into my room
Butterflies reside in my womb
Rose gold sea of lilies are glistening
Every day, I feel happy
Grateful, for all I have and done
In the calmest tasks, I have fun
Needed no princess to rescue me
Lovely, little bunny is smiling
As she is laughing
Both relieved, I escaped the gloom
I love you, existence
I love you, sympathy
I love you, dear me
I love you, resistance
I love the good in humanity
Love this sense of community
May you find the same joy
Thank you, beautiful sunrise
For helping me discover Love for life
The spiteful flame in me died
Now, strong birds fly into the colourful sky
No longer crushed by gravity
Rebuilding, what was once destroyed
Singing, with their newfound voice
Rainfall is also essential for this view
Under moderation, can trees grow
All this and more, I wish to show
Because I love you
