Monteverde's Obsession Part 2

Chapter 1

          After those challenges happened in Lyn and Axiel, the childhood sweetheart who meet each other before and are now husband and wife. Their life story continues in this part as they go through those incoming challenges that will test their marriage life.

“Hubby I want strawberry.” Lyn requested while pouting. Her husband Axiel will go to the office while she will go to their hospital. Yes, their hospital because they own it. She pass the board exam last year after their marriage and now working at their hospital. Two years together.

“I will buy that one Wifey. Anything else?” he is wearing his shoes, getting ready for work. He is busy this week because he will expand another branch of their business. 

           Lyn goes near him and hugs him, a back hug. She didn't know what is going on, her feelings now. She become clingy and so sweet this week and is always craving strawberries.

’Is she being dependant on that fruit?’

‘Why is she always craving for that?’

“You always want that fruit Wifey, are sure for me to buy for that again?” Axiel turns around and faces her. Curiosity is written on his face. 

‘Why, is there something wrong with what she requested?’

“Are you not going to buy me that strawberry?” Now she is emotional. Her tears flow to her eyes while staring at him. Because of her unexpected reaction, Axiel panicked and coax her while saying some words to coax her, making her calm down and stop crying. Her tears hurt his heart, he didn't want to see her in that situation.

“Shhhhh enough okay. I will buy a lot of strawberries for you when I go home. Please stop crying,” he says in a soft voice. This week was like hell to her, become moody, clingy, loves strawberries, and worse she shout at him last night. She's blessed to have an understanding husband that loves her. No doubt that she is the lucky girl in this world. 

“I want strawberries Hubby,” she says again. He nodded to her for an agreement. He loses when the commander speaks, no more negotiations and demands. 

“Okay, I will buy it. Prepare and I will drop you at the hospital before going to the company.” Lyn nodded and start preparing. She wore a white dress below the knee. She loves this dress because Axiel buys it for her. With her shoulder bag, she goes downstairs, and there she sees her husband preparing their breakfast. 

         They have maids and chefs but he will cook for them whenever he's not busy. He is cooking a common breakfast, egg, bacon, langgonisa, egg sandwich, and fried rice. Axiel will not let her go to work without having breakfast. He cares about her so much more than he does in his self. 

“Can you make our coffees Wifey?” he asked. He loves when she makes coffee for him, the way she blends it. She smiles before saying.

“I would love it Hubby.” she giggles. A smile is plastered on her lips while making coffees for them. She put down the two cups on the dining table beside their plates. Dishes are been set on the table. 

“Come and let's eat Wifey.” he invites her with a smile. She sits and leads the prayer before eating. Prayer becomes their daily task to do before doing anything, before meals, at bedtime, and after waking up. Their spiritual relationship with God strengthens as years go by. 

“I will be going to pick you up this afternoon okay. Take care Wifey.” Axiel reminds her before kissing her forehead. It is a way to express love and assurance than saying it. They say that action is stronger than words. She nodded.
