Monteverde's Obsession Part 2

Chapter 12

                   They go into the kitchen to see if there are snacks ready. The kitchen is busy cooking for tonight. Manang Abby is commanding and checking the foods that are cooked. 

                   

“What can I do for you Lady Lyn and Master Axiel?” she ask when they arrived in the kitchen. The maids and chefs bow at them when they hear Manang Abby ask. 

Lyn smiled and said, “I want my strawberry cake Manang and iced tea.” 

“Right away Lady Lyn. We have strawberry cake, especially for you and I make it.” Manang Abby responded and get her cravings. Serving Lyn is not hard for them because they know that she is kind and even helps them before on household chores. Lyn is not spoiled by her parents and it is beneficial to her. She knows how to keep her feet on the ground. A real-life kind princess in the kingdom.

“Let's sit first while waiting for Manang to come,” Axiel suggested and help Lyn to sit in one of the chairs in the dining room. 

“Hubby, I miss this home. I have a lot of memories here and I will treasure them all, bad ones or good ones.” her eyes started to form tears while saying it. Her pregnancy hormones are striking her again. The little bean in her belly is causing her that. 

“Our little bean is making me fat. I ate a lot and now I'm becoming fat,” she added. 

“You are not fat Wife and even if you are, I will always love you no matter what is your appearance after giving birth. Now that you are three months pregnant and your baby bump is showing, you are still beautiful. You will always be my baby, my queen, and my everything. Always remember that.” Axiel spoke sweet words to comfort her. Her insecurities in her body were not good for her mental health. Bearing a blessing was good so you need to accept the changes that come with it like the body change, and others.

“Are you sure Hubby? You will not leave me?” she ask for assurance and Axiel assured her, “Yes Wifey, you know me. You are my weakness.” 

“Your cake is here Lady Lyn.” their conversation is interrupted when Manang came with Lyn's craving. 

“Thank you Manang” Lyn thank her before eating her cake. 

“Your welcome Lady Lyn. Just leave it there when you finish and I will get it later. Don't be hard-headed again and wash it, okay?” Manang Lyn reminds her. 

“Okay Manang” Lyn responded before Manang Abby go back to the kitchen. 

“Do you want some Hubby?” she filled the spoon with the cake and put it in front of Axiel's mouth he ate. 

“It's delicious Wife,” Axiel said and kiss her on the lips. She blushes at what he does. Her face is red as a ripe tomato.

                     Lyn finishes her snack and they go back to their room. Axiel insists to take a bath with her to assure her safety and that he can help her too. Lyn complains but he wins in the end. He didn't have bad intentions as Lyn knew. They spend half an hour in the bathroom. Lyn is wrapped in a bathrobe like a baby as well as Axiel. He places her in the bed carefully and goes into the closet to pick a dress for her. All dress suits her so he didn't take long to find her one. A white dress, above the knee, has sleeves up to the elbow and a v-neck. It is a simple white dress with a little bit of bling and not so fitted on her, her baby bump may show off a little but it's okay. 

“Here is your dress Wife. Hope you like my choice.” Axiel show her the dress he picked and hoping she will like it and boom! She is shocked positively.
