Monteverde's Obsession Part 2

Chapter 8

“Hhmmmmkkkkppppl” Lyn vomit upon reaching the sink. She is in the Palace with Felisa when she feels nauseated and ran to the nearest bathroom. They are having tea while watching a Turkish drama when it happened. Lyn feels a warm hand caresses her back when finished vomiting. She washes her face before turning back and hugging Felisa not minding getting her wet.

“I'm tired of this morning sickness Aunt. I hate the taste and feeling.” Lyn complains while tears are flowing in her eyes like a flood, nonstop. Her knees are shaking and can't stop properly. Felisa feels the strength in her body, surely, Lyn is exhausted after vomiting. She experience it before when she is pregnant with Catherine. 

            Felisa helps Lyn to stand on her own and to walk toward the couch before letting her sit down. 

“Can you bring a glass of water here?” Felisa asks but it is an order to the maid near them that it follows. 

“Are you okay dear?” Lyn shook her head in response before leaning on the couch. She gasp for air while panting until her lips start to turn to dry and she began to sweat heavily. It begins for her to stifle.

“Owww gosh, what is happening to you dear? How are you feeling? Tell me please.” Felisa panicked and held Lyn in her hands. 

“Here is the water Ma- What is happening Madam?” the maid came with a glass of water in her hands but was shocked at what she see. 

“I don't know. Call for an ambulance! Be quick!” Felisa shouted out of her panic. She wants to say sorry but how? Lyn's life is more important than that apology. She can say it later. The maid immediately calls 911. 

“She is lacking oxygen Madam.” one of the butlers said when they come closer to them. He is a nurse before but didn't pass the board exam three times. Felisa glared at the butler who speak with a questioning look by her stares. The butler comes closer and checks her heartbeat before saying,

“Her heartbeat is not normal and it is not good for a pregnant woman. The baby will lack oxygen too.”

              The ambulance came just after five minutes and took Lyn to the near hospital which is their hospital. Lyn lost consciousness just after the maid come from the kitchen. Her body didn't take long to wake when she lack oxygen. 

‘Not now, please. Please save my baby.’ she thought before passing out. 

                The hospital received a call for an emergency so they send an ambulance immediately. The call is from 911 which calls the nearest hospital in the caller's location and that is them. A doctor and a team of nurses are waiting at the entrance of the hospital for the ambulance to come. In just a few minutes, it reaches the hospital and the patient shocks them. 

‘It is their Lady Lyn, the wife of the hospital owner.’

‘What happened to her?’

“Please save her. I can't forgive myself if something happened to her.” Their eyes widen when Felisa talks. ‘Oh my gosh, the wife of the first billionaire is here too. Did they fight so that Lady Lyn pass out and need to bring her to the hospital? This is a big fight if Mr. Monteverde knows it.’ this is the thought that runs through their heads.

“Calm down ma'am, we're gonna take care of her.” the doctor said and follow the stretcher toward the ER. Felisa cries but is unable to call Ezekiel with shaking hands. She drops the phone once because of being nervous. In just two rings, Ezekiel picks it up.

“Hello Love, is there something bad that happened?” he worriedly ask knowing that Felisa will not usually call him this time if she was okay. Not before that they are abroad.
