Practices weren't really interesting for me, we already kinda knew how the car was gonna perform, because trust me, I studied their car a lot.

I wanted to do well.

I was sitting outside the hospitality with my laptop, Oscar's and Lando's time and performance just got in and the car was behaving just as I expected.

"Knoxy" Lando said as he sat with me. He was still wearing his racing suit, but unzipped it to his waist.

"Norris" I nodded. Didn't want to look at him too long because yes, I was still attracted to him.

How can you not?

His kisses were mind blowing, his taste, his hand on my cheek and his little moans...

Focus Knox.

"I am gonna grab some food, do you want something?" He asked. "Don't you need to change out of your racing suit?"

"That can wait" he shrugged. "So, what do you want?"

"A wrap and a coffee please" I answered.

He nodded with a smile, got up but leaned on the table again. "How do you like your coffee?"

"Milk, no sugar"

"Got it" he nodded and walked inside.

"Taura!" Someone else yelled just as I was about to start working again.

Note to myself, if I wanted to work, then I shouldn't sit outside.

"Max" I smiled as Verstappen walked up to my table.

"How are you and Martin doing?" He asked. I knew he was pretty excited about that, because he felt as if he was the reason we got together.

He wasn't.

But fair enough, I wouldn't have met him if it wasn't for Max.

"We're good, he's coming on Sunday"

"I know" he nodded. "We're going out to party then, yeah?"

"Sure" I smiled.

And with that, he walked away. Only for Lando to walk back to me.

A coffee and a plate with two wraps in his hands.

"They put both of our wraps on the same plate" he immediately explained.

"That's fine, we shared way more than that" I chuckled, immediately stopped because why the fuck would I say something like that.

"Still not enough though" he mumbled as he sat down.

Didn't know what he meant by that.

He cleared his throat. "So your friend must be sad that you left Mercedes, right?"

"She's okay, we can still see each other in the paddock" I shrugged. I think she hated it more that Romeo left for Red Bull.

"Is your friend still dating that mechanic?"

Why did he keep calling her my friend? Fair enough she was my friend but it was just weird.

"Since you saw them together in Ibiza? A couple of days ago?" I chuckled. "Yeah she is"

He was biting the inside of his cheek, why was he so nervous?

"You okay?" I asked. "You seem nervous"

"No, not nervous" he chuckled. Yes he was definitely nervous. "You maybe want to watch a movie together tonight?"

I sighed. I kinda missed spending time with him but then again, maybe it wasn't smart to be alone, watching a movie, in the dark.

Nope, definitely wasn't a good idea.

"Or we can take a walk on the beach or something?" He quickly added, obviously also noticing I was doubting this.

"The beach is fine" I said.

"Awesome" he said excited, taking a bite from his wrap, making pretty much everything fall out of it.

We both started laughing.

He was such an idiot sometimes.

"It's going to rain during qualifying, right?" He asked, opening his wrap and slowly putting everything back.

"Possibly, not entirely sure yet"

He nodded. "Hopefully it will, I like to have fun in the wet"

The choice of words made me chuckle. "I bet you do"

His PR manager tapped his shoulder, telling him it was time for interviews.

"Anyways" he said as he got up. "I will pick you up tonight"

I nodded. Pick me up, as in literally take two steps to my room.

Because joining Mclaren, also meant that we stayed in the same hotel from now on.

He turned his head to me, waved a little and without even realizing I was waving back at him.

It made him smile and I smiled because he was smiling.

What was going on?
