Puck became friends with Finn at age five when their opposing baseball teams played against each other. Puck tackled Finn at home plate because the umpire ruled him safe but Puck knew he was out, and at the end of the game when she realized no one was there for Puck, Finn's mom took both boys for ice cream.
Puck became friends with Santana at age five when they were in the same kindergarten class. They then learned they were neighbors and would sit together on the bus ride home from school.
It didn't take long for Santana and Finn to become friends after having Puck as a mutual friend. The three of them quickly became inseparable, whether it was birthday celebrations for Santana and Finn - whose birthdays were only a few days apart, Santana and Puck influencing Finn to misbehave and the three of them getting into (mostly harmless) mischief together, or the boys ganging up on Santana.
They make lots of memories over the years and have tons of traditions, secrets, and inside jokes that they carry on into adulthood.
