The Tentacles Of Doctor Octopus

It was the middle of the night when a man in a white lab coat and missing an arm, was running for his life as if something was after him. His name was Dr Curt Connors (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker), and he was a scientist of the now dead company Os-Corp. He managed to make it to a house and tries knocking on the door. Once the door opened, a woman with white hair came to the scene. The woman in question was Peter's Aunt May (voiced by Misty Lee), which means the house belonged to the Parker family. Aunt May: "Hello there, what beings you here at this hour?" Dr Connors: "Sorry to bother you, but I need a place to rest for a bit." Aunt May: "Of course, just try not to wake the kids." Dr Connors: "You have children?" Aunt May: "Well teenagers really, and one of them is my nephew and the other is a girl who has no family." Dr Connors: "I see, thank you." and so with that, Dr Connors got inside as Aunt May closes the door. It was morning when Peter and Gwen wake up to see Dr Connors sitting on the table. Peter: "Dr Connors?" Aunt May: "Oh so you know this man?" asked Aunt May, who just came into the kitchen with a plate full of pancakes. Peter: "It's hard not to, as he was a scientist of Os-Corp, the place I had a field trip some time ago, I even met him there." Dr Connors: "Why it's Peter Parker, I heard that you're Harry's best friend." Peter: "You knew Harry?, oh right, your boss was his dad." Dr Connors: "Was is right... thanks to Otto Octavius..." Gwen: "What do you mean?" Dr Connors: "Well... I don't know if I should tell you... it could put you in danger..." Aunt May: "Otto Octavius... wasn't he another top scientist of Os-Corp?, I've heard of him one time." Dr Connors: "Yes... he was a genius alright... but he was not what I would call the kindest." Peter: "What do you mean?" Dr Connors: "He... does some kind of transformation experiments that can mutate a human's DNA with any animal... like the Green Goblin for example." this made Peter gasped in shock as he realized that Octavius has some connection with his worst enemy. Peter: "Wait... are you saying this Octavius guy created the Green Goblin?" Dr Connors: "Yes, and destroyed Norman Osborn at the same time, forcing Harry to take over as CEO." Peter: "Yeah... I heard about that, which is why I couldn't see him as much." Gwen: "And this Octavius guy?, what happened to him?" Dr Connors: "He disappeared after the Green Goblin showed up, but he's back and is now hunting me down because I know what he did." Aunt May: "But if we know that now... won't he come after us too?" this made the one armed doc to face palm himself, realizing the mistake he just made. Gwen: "I hope you don't mind me asking... but what happened to your arm?" Dr Connors: "Oh this?, I sort of lost it in a car accident long ago, it was one of the reasons I originally tried to do some DNA experiments with Octavius long ago, in hopes to regrow it... but that was before I saw the doc's true colors..." Gwen: "How can animal DNA help you on getting your arm back?" Dr Connors: "Ever heard about some lizards have the ability to regrow their limbs?" Peter: "Oh yeah, I heard about that... wait, were you trying to make a lizard out of yourself?" Dr Connors: "I did once... but it came with a price... it turned me into a dangerous lizard man one time... and it almost took the life of my own wife..." Aunt May: "Oh you poor thing..." that was when they heard the sound of metal foot steps approaching the house, and when Peter took a look out at the window, he sees a man with robotic tentacle arms attached to his back. The man in question was in fact Otto Octavius (voiced by Tom Kenny), and he was looking for Dr Connors in the area. Peter: "I'm guessing that's Octavius, right?" Dr Connors: "I'm afraid so... he knows I'm here... you can't let him see you with me, or he'll see you as more targets." said the Doc, before he went to the back door and tries to lure Octavius away from the house. As for the people inside, Peter and Gwen quickly went to their rooms in order to change to their super hero outfits. Back with Connors, he was now caught in one of the evil doctor's tentacles. Octavius: "Well if it isn't my old friend, Dr Connors... I've been looking for you, after all, I can't let anyone know about my experiments just yet, especially my Green Goblin." Dr Connors: "He's not yours Octavius!, and someone's gonna make you pay for what you did to Mr Osborn!" Octavius: "Oh really?, who's gonna stop me?" as soon as he said that, the evil doc's face got punched by the Spider duo, causing him to drop Connors, who got caught by Batman and Batgirl, who managed to arrive just in time. Spider-Man: "Talk about good timing." Batman: "Consider yourself lucky that I always carry my costume with me in case of something like this when I'm out in the city or something." Batgirl: "So who's the octopus guy?" Spider-Man: "I believe that his name was Otto Octavius." Ghost-Spider: "And we learned that he was the one who created the Green Goblin." Batgirl: "Really?, how?" Batman: "How about we find out after we take him down." Spider-Man: "Good idea." Octavius: "I won't go down that easily, and call me... Dr Octopus!" shouted the villain, before he uses his robotic tentacles to attack the heroes, who barely managed to dodge them as fast as they can. Ghost-Spider: "Funny, that's exactly what we were gonna call you." Dr Octopus: "Don't make fun of me, for my intellect is far greater than yours will ever be." Spider-Man: "Let's put that to the test, shall we?" said Spider-Man, before he used his webs to tie up two of the tentacles that were on the ground, while Ghost-Spider used her own webbing to tie up the other two tentacles. It was not long before both Batman & Batgirl threw a punch in the evil doc's face, knocking him down to the ground. Doctor Octopus: "Oh... lucky shot... that's all." Spider-Man: "Well that lucky shot for us will make sure you're go where guys like you belong... behind bars." sometime after that, Doctor Octopus was arrested and was sent to prison. It was not long before the Commissioner came up to the heroes. Commissioner Gordon: "Well it looks like we got another villain to watch for here in Gotham now." Spider-Man: "No kidding, as if we didn't had enough trouble with the Joker or Green Goblin." that was when Aunt May came up to the scene. Aunt May: "I hope Peter & Gwen are okay, last time I saw them was when that awful Doctor Octopus man showed up." Spider-Man: "Don't worry, they were the ones who called us here." Ghost-Spider: "And they told us to tell you that they're fine." Aunt May: "Thank goodness." once the cops left, Batman and Batgirl came up to the web warriors. Batman: "Nice save there." Spider-Man: "Well we couldn't tell her who we really are without revealing our secret identity, now could we?" Batgirl: "I know how you feel, as although he's this dimension's version of my dad, he still means a lot to me... and I don't know how he'll react if he ever find out." Batman: "Speaking of which, does she not know that this dimension's version of Gwen Stacy is dead?" Spider-Man: "Actually, I never told her about Gwen as I felt too embarrassed to tell her that I got a girlfriend at the time." Ghost-Spider: "Oh come on, there's nothing embarrassing about a boy having a girlfriend." Spider-Man: "Yeah... I know that now..." that was when Dr Connors came up to the group. Dr Connors: "Octavius may be going to jail now... but I have a feeling that we have not seen the last of him." Batman: "I agree, but if he does show up again, we'll be ready." said Batman, as he looks up at the sky.
