The Venom Goblin

It was afternoon when Peter & Gwen were on their way home from school. Peter: "Looks like we both got an A+." Gwen: "Thank goodness... for a moment there, I was worried that we might get a lower grade." suddenly, a shadow came up behind them, much to the teens' surprise, causing them to try fighting back, only to see that it was the bat duo. Peter: "Really?, you couldn't walk up to someone like a normal person?" Batman: "Never mind that, we have a situation." Batgirl: "The Green Goblin is back... or in this case... the Venom Goblin." Gwen: "What do you mean?" Batman: "That alien that we fought before, has managed to escape from Arkham, and it has merged itself with the Goblin." Peter: "You're kidding..." Batgirl: "Afraid not." Peter: "Yeah... Green Goblin dangerous... Green Goblin with that alien Venom goo, crazy dangerous." Batman: "And you said that you wanted to bring Goblin to justice right?" Peter: "Yeah... looks like now might be our only chance." so with that, Peter & Gwen went into their costumes, and followed the bat duo to a large bridge, where the Green Goblin, or in this case the Venom Goblin, was flying around throwing pumpkin bombs at the passing cars. Venom Goblin: "Yes... nothing can stop us now!" Spider-Man: "Except for us that is!" said Spider-Man, as he swings in his web vine before kicking Venom Goblin on the stomach. Venom Goblin: "Uh... Spider-Man, we meet again." Spider-Man: "Yeah, and this time, we're gonna send you behind bars." Venom Goblin: "Oh really... maybe you should do the same for those two." said Venom Goblin, before pointing his finger at what looked like a mutant rhino and a sand monster attacking the cars on the bridge. Ghost-Spider: "What in the world?" Batgirl: "Looks like Doctor Octopus has made some new mutants." Venom Goblin: "Not quite, they were actually one of the first mutants that the doc created before the Green Goblin... which we hired to cause chaos here some time ago... they are called Sandman and the Rhino." Spider-Man: "Yeah I kinda figured that when I saw them." Ghost-Spider: "Never mind that, we gotta stop them before they hurt someone!" Batman: "Listen, Batgirl and I will handle those two, you and Spider-Man deal with Venom Goblin." Spider-Man: "Gotcha." so with that, the Bat duo deal with the mutants, while the Spider duo deal with the Venom Goblin himself. Venom Goblin: "You really think that you stand a chance against me?" Spider-Man: "You caught us by surprise last time." Ghost-Spider: "But now we know your weakness." said the Ghost-Spider, before taking out what looked like some sort of device that made a high frequency sound that was torture to the alien, forcing it to be separated from the Green Goblin. Spider-Man traps the Venom goo inside a glass case to make sure it doesn't get away again, before giving it to Ghost-Spider and walks towards his enemy. Spider-Man: "It's over Goblin... you're finished." Green Goblin: "Oh I don't think Spider-Man... You might have defeated that Venom thing... but I'm far from finished..." said the Green Goblin, before he jumped into his hover glider, and flew off to who knows where. Spider-Man: "Oh no you don't!" shouted Spider-Man, before he uses his webs to catch the glider, causing him to fly away with the villain. Ghost-Spider: "Spider-Man wait!" but it was too late as they were already up in the air. Back with the Bat duo, they were having a little trouble beating the mutants. But once they learned that Sandman is weak to water or the Rhino gets tired easily, they managed to beat the monsters. It was not long before they see Spider-Man trying to catch the Green Goblin in the air. Spider-Man: "I'm not... letting you... get away again!" Green Goblin: "Oh please, like you really have what it takes to capture me." said the Green Goblin, before throwing a pumpkin bomb at the hero, forcing him to let go in order to avoid the explosion. He was falling and falling until Ghost-Spider used her own webs to catch him just in the nick of time. As soon as Ghost-Spider gets Spider-Man away from the edge, she gave him a tight hug, much to the web warrior's surprise. Ghost-Spider: "You idiot!, I thought that I was gonna lose you like my Peter!" Spider-Man: "Sorry about that... didn't mean to upset you." Batgirl: "Well at least you're safe." Spider-Man: "Yeah... but Goblin got away again." Batman: "But at least we managed to get those two." said Batman, pointing at the two mutants that were now tied up in chains. It was not long before the cops come and taken the monsters into custody, while the Commissioner comes to the heroes. Commissioner Gordon: "That Goblin is harder to catch than any other criminal here, well aside from the Joker of course." Spider-Man: "No kidding, we were so close too..." Commissioner Gordon: "Don't worry, if anyone can catch him, it's you four." meanwhile, the Green Goblin was flying somewhere above the city, thinking about his next move. Green Goblin: "I think it's time I pay your aunt a little visit, Spider-Man... or should I say... Peter Parker." said the Green Goblin, with an evil grin on his face.
