The Batgirl & The Ghost-Spider

It was a dark & rainy day when Bruce was at the cemetery, visiting his parents' graves. That was when he sees Peter Parker not too far away, looking at a grave stone that had the name 'Gwen Stacy' on it. Bruce: "Friend of yours?" Peter: "Yeah... well girlfriend really, she died in a car crash... just a few weeks before I got my powers... she was the only person at school who ever treated me nicely..." said Peter, before some tears came out of his eyes as Bruce puts his hand on the teen's shoulder. Bruce: "I guess we both have lost someone close to us." Peter: "Yeah... which is why we became the crime fighters now, so no one else had to go through the same thing." elsewhere in Gotham, Commissioner Gordon was watching his daughter, Barbra Gordon (voiced by Tara Strong), doing her homework before putting the pencil down. Barbra: "You know dad, if I ever want a boyfriend, it would be Batman." this made the commissioner to spit out the coffee he was drinking. Commissioner Gordon: "What?!" Barbra: "Oh come on, Batman is so cool, strong, fights bad guys like you, not to mention that he might be very handsome under that mask." Commissioner Gordon: "I don't know if Batman's the kind of guy who wants to be in a relationship like that." Barbra: "Yeah I guess so... I wonder what it'll be like if I was Batman..." Commissioner Gordon: "In order to do that, you would have to be a man first, otherwise you would have been a Bat 'girl' instead." Barbra: "Hey, that's pretty catchy." suddenly, the pair hear someone laughing in a crazy female way, before some kind of bomb crashed through the window, getting ready to blow. They tried to get out of their house, but the bomb already set off and the whole place blew up in flames. By the time the Commissioner woke up, he sees that his daughter didn't make it as there was no sign of her. Commissioner Gordon: "Barbra!, no!" screamed the commissioner as he mourn for his daughter's seemly passing. That was when he sees a car with a female jester driving it while laughing in a crazy way before driving away. The next day came, and the news about the incident spread fast, and it was not long before the commissioner sees Batman & the Spider-Man again. Batman: "We heard about what happened last night." Spider-Man: "I wished we were there to stop it." Commissioner Gordon: "Don't blame yourself, there was no way anyone would have seen it coming..." Batman: "Any clues on the culprit?" Commissioner Gordon: "Not really, except that it was some female jester." Spider-Man: "A female jester?, you mean there's a female villain now?" Commissioner Gordon: "So it seems, can you promise me that you'll catch her." Batman: "We'll do what we can." so with that, the duo began their search for this mysterious female jester, but so far no luck. Spider-Man: "Why would this jester girl want to kill the commissioner's daughter?" Batman: "Perhaps it wasn't the daughter that she was after... but the commissioner himself." Spider-Man: "I guess that makes sense, if anything happened to him, the whole police force of Gotham would fall into chaos." that was when a small gas bomb came in front of them, and it released some sort of sleeping gas that knocked them out cold. By the time they woke up, the duo were tied up in some rope and look up to see the Joker and the mysterious female jester, who is known as Harley Quinn (voiced by Tara Strong). Joker: "Well look who's finally awake from their little nap." Batman: "Joker... I should have known this jester was your doing." Joker: "Oh you must mean my new girlfriend, Harley Quinn here." Harley: "Yes, so these are the Batman & Spider-Man my pudding told me, they kind of remind me of Batgirl and Ghost-Spider." Batman: "Batgirl?" Spider-Man: "And Ghost-Spider?" Harley: "That's right, you see I came from another dimension where the heroes of Gotham were Batgirl & Ghost-Spider, and I came here by using this magic gem here." said Harley, before showing what looked like a necklace with a large red gem in the center. Batman: "Wait... that's the Siege Perilous." Spider-Man: "Okay, and what is that?" Batman: "I've heard stories about it being an artifact that has the ability to allow someone to travel through dimensions." Spider-Man: "So... there is a dimension that we're girls?" Harley: "No clue, as I don't know who they really were under those masks." Joker: "Well it doesn't matter, as you two are about to meet your end." said the Joker, before starting to laugh in a crazy way. It was at that moment, when a pair of mysterious figures crashed through the windows and stood before the villains. The first one was a young woman with a costume similar to Batman's and has her red hair being shown. While the second one had her costume similar to Spider-Man's, but the colors of white, pink and black, not to mention that there was a hoodie covering the masked head. It was in fact Batgirl (voiced by Tara Strong), and Ghost-Spider (voiced by Lacey Chabert), and the sight of them surprised the female jester for sure. Harley: "Batgirl & Ghost-Spider!, you followed me here?!" Batgirl: "Well of course, as if we would let you get away from us so easily." Ghost-Spider: "And you're gonna pay for what you did the Commissioner and his daughter!" Joker: "Oh, as if you two can stop us." Batgirl: "We won't know until we try." said Batgirl, before she & Ghost-Spider went to fight the villains and it was tough, suddenly, Ghost-Spider vanished without a trace, and that was when the ropes that held Batman & Spider-Man suddenly got cut in half, freeing the duo at last, before the Ghost-Spider reappears in front of them. Ghost-Spider: "Mind if you boys give us a hand." Spider-Man: "Not at all." said Spider-Man, before he and Batman join the fight, and it was not long before the two villains were beaten. Batgirl: "Looks like you two are finally going behind bars." Joker: "I don't think so." said the Joker, before he throws a small gas bomb that covered the whole room with smoke. By the time the smoke was finally cleared away, the Joker & Harley Quinn were already gone. Spider-Man: "Dang it!, we were so close of napping them." Ghost-Spider: "Don't worry, there's always next time." Batman: "Thanks for the help, but who are you?" Batgirl: "Well... it's a little hard to explain, we came from another dimension, and we followed Harley Quinn to this one by the Siege Perilous." Spider-Man: "You mean that gem that got shattered on the ground there?" asked the male spider themed hero, pointing at the remains of the artifact on the ground. Ghost-Spider: "Oh no!, that was our only way home!" Spider-Man: "Sorry about that, but at least no more of the villains of your dimension came." Batgirl: "Actually, Harley Quinn was the only villain in our version of Gotham." Spider-Man: "Lucky for you." Batman: "Do you have any family back there?" Barbra: "Not really... our folks passed away some time ago, like my dad... commissioner Gordon." this made the male heroes have their eyes widened in surprise, realizing who Batgirl might be. Batman: "... You're Barbra Gordon... aren't you?" Batgirl: "How did you know that?" Batman: "Because we know your father... or the Commissioner Gordon here." Spider-Man: "And he seems to have lost his daughter's life." Batgirl: "Oh... I witness the event the other night, I tried to stop Harley, but it was already too late... but at least this dimension's version of my dad is still alive..." Spider-Man: "What about you?" asked the male spider themed hero the female one. Ghost-Spider: "Well... I lost my parents by Harley Quinn... and my boyfriend in a car crash... his name was Peter Parker." this made the male spider themed hero to gasp in shock, as he got a feeling about who the Ghost-Spider really is. Spider-Man: "Y-you're Gwen Stacy... aren't you?" Ghost-Spider: "Yes... but how do you know that?" asked Ghost-Spider, before Spider-Man takes his mask off, showing his face to her, which made her gasp in shock. Ghost-Spider: "So... you're the Peter Parker of this dimension?" Peter: "Yeah, I guess the roles were switched out for us..." that was when the Ghost-Spider takes her hood and mask off, showing her face with blond hair, shedding a tear from her eye, happy to see a familiar face once again. It was not long before Gwen gives Peter a hug, who decided to return it as although they were not the same people, they were happy to see their faces once again. Batman: "Save the moment for another time, we gotta get moving." Peter: "Don't you ever lighten up?" Gwen: "So what now?" Batman: "Well until we find a way for you getting back to your dimension, you're gonna have to find a place to live around here." Peter: "Gwen can stay with me and my Aunt May if she wants." Gwen: "I wouldn't mind, if your Aunt doesn't either." Peter: "I'm sure she'll be happy to have you live with us for a bit." Batgirl: "And me?" Batman: "I might have an idea." sometime later, the Commissioner was still sad that his fear of Barbra being gone forever, when he heard someone knocking on his door. Once he opened it, he sees Barbra in front of him, much to his surprise. Barbra: "Hey dad." Commissioner Gordon: "Barbra!, you're alive!" said the commissioner, before he and Barbra went to embrace one another, happy to be reunited once again.
