The Terrible Trio

It was dark in the night of Gotham city, when all of a sudden, a city bank was being attacked by what looked like a trio of anthropomorphic beasts. The leader was an anthropomorphic vixen, the second was an anthropomorphic shark, and the third was an anthropomorphic vulture. Once the trio got out of the bank, the heroes of Gotham came to the scene, and were surprised to see who the bank robbers were. Spider-Man: "Whoa, is it Halloween already?" Ghost-Spider: "I don't think those are costumes..." Batgirl: "Are you sure?" Batman: "She might be right, they look way too realistic to be just people in costumes." said the Batman, before the shark tried to take a bite out of them, only to chew on a car instead. Ghost-Spider: "And for the fact that no human can have enough jaw muscle to do that." Spider-Man: "No kidding... but it looks like his teeth are broken..." Batgirl: "Actually..." said the female bat hero, before pointing at the shark's newly regrown teeth. Batman: "Now we know for sure that these are not human." Spider-Man: "Oh boy..." that was when the vixen used her speed to kick the heroes one by one, before Batgirl kicks back as Ghost-Spider joins in. the vulture went to use his wings to fly up before sky diving at the other heroes. Ghost-Spider: "Great... why can't we deal with normal bad guys in this town?" Spider-Man: "If we did that, this story would have been too boring to read." Ghost-Spider: "Good point there." Batgirl: "What are you two talking about?" Spider-Man & Ghost-Spider: "Nothing important." Batman: "Then please focus more on stopping these things!" Spider-Man: "Gotcha." so with that, they continue fighting the beastly trio until a strange buzzing sound was heard and the trio of beasts ran off to who knows where. Ghost-Spider: "What was that about?" Batman: "Not sure... but maybe this piece of the fox's fur might tell us something." so when morning came, Batman, currently as Bruce Wayne, was looking at the fur on the microscope and uses the giant computer to collect data. That was when the others, currently as their normal selves, came to the scene. Peter: "So what have you learned so far?" Bruce: "Well there's no doubt that these new bank robbers were mutated." Gwen: "Yeah, we kind of already figured that out when the shark took a bite on that car." Peter: "Or that vulture flew around like a real one." Barbra: "Anything we haven't know about yet?" Bruce: "Well it seems that the chemicals that mutated this woman was similar to the formula that was made in Os-Corp." Peter: "Wait... Os-Corp?, the place where I got my powers?" Bruce: "Sort of, but this is a lot more powerful version that alters the DNA of both the inside and outside of the human body." Barbra: "But who could have done this?" Bruce: "The only two people who could have made this was Dr Otto Octavius, and Dr Curt Connors..." Peter: "You mean Dr Octopus?, the guy with the mechanic tentacles?" Bruce: "That's the guy." Gwen: "But didn't we send him to jail?" Bruce: "We did, but I heard word that he managed to escape sometime ago." Peter: "So Doctor Octopus is behind this?" Bruce: "I wouldn't be surprised, as if he was able to create the Green Goblin, he would no doubt been able to create a trio of anthropomorphic predators of land, air & sea." Gwen: "But what for?" Peter: "Maybe he wanted some sort of mutant army to do his work?" Bruce: "There's only one way to find out... by tracking down the Terrible Trio." so with that, once night came, the heroes of Gotham were searching around the city when they finally found their targets with Dr Curt Connors in their hands, all tied up so he can't escape. Spider-Man: "They got Dr Connors!" Batman: "Not for long, come on." so they followed the Terrible Trio to an old building that's been used by Dr Octopus as a secret hideout. Dr Octopus: "Well look who it is... how do you like my latest creations?" Dr Connors: "These people... who were they?" Dr Octopus: "Nobody really, they were originally normal animals before I found them, and made them what they are today thanks to me formula, something that you've never able to do." Dr Connors: "Well it's more like something I would never do, as making weapons out of either people or animals is inhuman." Dr Octopus: "Well I am beyond human now, thanks to my superior intellect." that was when the heroes broke into the building. Spider-Man: "Well that 'so called' superior intellect is about to send you back behind bars." Dr Octopus: "You again?!, Vixen!, Shark!, Vulture!, destroy them!" once the order was given, the Terrible Trio went to attack the heroes, who were doing their best to fight back. Vixen was about to attack the female Spider hero, when the Ghost-Spider turns invisible, in hopes to catch the beast by surprise, only for the Vixen to sniff the air and catches her without trouble. Ghost-Spider: "What the?!" Dr Octopus: "My beasts not only are strong and fast, but they also have a strong sense of smell, so even if you can hide, your smell can't do the same." Spider-Man: "Really?, even this jar of skunk juice here?" said Spider-Man, before throwing a jar of skunk juice at the Terrible Trio, causing them to cough and try covering their noses from the smell, the same went for everyone else. Ghost-Spider: "Ugh!, really?!" Spider-Man: "Okay... maybe that wasn't a good idea..." Batgirl: "You think?" Batman: "Either way, their distracted, so now's our chance." Spider-Man: "Right!" so with that, Spider-Man & Ghost-Spider use their webs to catch both Dr Octopus & the Terrible Trio, while Batman & Batgirl free Dr Connors from the ropes. Dr Octopus: "How is this possible?... getting beaten yet again by you four..." Batgirl: "Cause crime never pays." not long after the battle, the cops arrived to put the villain and his mutants into custody. Commissioner Gordon: "If this keeps this up, Gotham might turn into a zoo." Bullock: "No kidding, we already got some animals on our side." Spider-Man: "Hey for your information, we're still human." Bullock: "Whatever." Dr Connors: "Again... thank you." Batgirl: "Don't mention it, we were just doing our job." Batman: "And something tells me that our jobs won't be over anytime soon if this keeps up." said Batman, while looking at Dr Octopus and his mutants getting taken away.
