This chapter is really bad lol😭

Finally, summer had arrived. Summer of '85 to be exact. Life felt good for everyone again, not a single worry about monsters. Well we'll see how long that will last. Margo, Steve and robin were currently at work. Yes, they did actually manage to get a job at the newly built mall. Margo and Steve were sat out back while it was robin's turn to serve customers.

Another thing that had happened since fighting monsters is that Steve plucked up enough courage to ask Margo to be his girlfriend, and of course she agreed. "What time is it?" Steve mumbled sleepily as he rested his head on his hand.

"8 pm." Margo looked at her watch. "We only have 2 hours to go."

Steve sighed and sat up normally and kissed the top of Margo's head. As Steve was about to talk he was cut off by robin's voice. "Hey dingus' your children are here." She called out.

The pair of them stood up and walked over to the window where Steve pulled it open. "Again? Seriously?" Steve groaned.

The kids gave them a look and Mike pushed the bell once more. Margo led them to the back door of the store. "Come on, come on." She hurried them.

"I swear, if anybody hears about this—" Steve warned.

"We're dead!" The kids finished his sentence.

As the pair walked back inside Margo looked up at her boyfriend. "You're definitely the mom and I'm the dad." She chuckled. Steve rolled his eyes sarcastically.

After a while of serving customers and scooping ice cream, all three of them were stood out front serving someone. Until, the power throughout the whole mall flicked off. "What the fuck?" Margo whispered.

"That's weird." Steve said as he walked over to the light switch and attempted to switch it on.

"That isn't going to work, dingus." Robin said as Steve repeated flicked the switch on and off.

"Oh really?" Steve challenged and started turning it on and off even faster. Suddenly the lights switched on. "Let there be light."

Margo and Robin gave each other a look as Steve handed the customer their ice cream. He turned back to the girls and grinned. "Magic." He said.

"Tragic." Margo exaggerated as she did jazz hands.

Robin laughed and shook her head at the couple.

The next day meant another shift for the three. Robin and Margo were watching Steve serve a few customers. They were currently playing a game to see who could get the most tips from customers. Steve was fake flirting with two girls which Margo and Steve agreed was allowed as apart of the bet but meant absolutely nothing. After Steve's customers left with out giving a tip, Margo smirked and held up a board.
