"I'm home!" Margo called out as she entered the house that night. She saw her dad groan and put a hand to his head. "Someones had to much to drink."

She slumped down on the sofa beside hopper. "How was your date?"

She saw his face drop slightly. "She stood me up."

"Ouch." Margo sighed and stood back up walking over to the fridge.

"There's some left over pizza from last night if you want it." Hopper lazily yelled out to his daughter.

"Thanks." Margo replied and took the foil covered plate from the fridge and headed to her bedroom.

The next morning Margo was putting on her shoes as she heard the family car horn, waiting for her outside. "Bye dad." She yelled out not knowing if he'd hear her on not.

She shut the front doors and smiled as she saw Steve leaning against his bonnet waiting for her.

"Hey Joyce." She naturally said as she saw another car pull up and Joyce jump out.

"Hey sweetheart." Joyce waved before heading to the front door. "Oh Mar, I have your gift for tomorrow, I'll leave it inside."

Margo smiled and thanked her as she made her way over to Steve. It was Margo's birthday tomorrow, as well as it being independence day.

Margo gave Steve a quick kiss before the both of them got in the car and headed to work. Neither of them having a clue of what was to come.

Steve peeked out from behind a fake pot of plants, holding binoculars to his eyes, Dustin crouched beside him.
