Today is a different kind of day. Mama looks tired, like the clouds on a rainy day. She moves slowly, and her smile doesn't shine as bright. I don't like seeing mama like this.

"Mama, I want to help you," I tell her, my little voice filled with love.

Mama's eyes light up with surprise and gratitude. She pulls me into a hug, her warmth comforting against my skin. "Thank you, sweetheart. You're always my little ray of sunshine."

I decide I'm going to be mama's special helper today. I want to make her feel better, just like she always does for me. So, I set out to do things that will make mama's day a little brighter.

I start by picking up my toys, making sure they're all in their proper places. Mama always says a tidy space brings a peaceful mind. Then, I help mama with small tasks around the house, like bringing her a glass of water or fluffing up her favorite pillow on the couch.

With each thing I do, I can see mama's tiredness slowly melting away. Her smile grows a little bigger, and her eyes sparkle a little brighter. It fills me with joy to see mama feeling better because of me.

As the day goes on, mama's energy starts to come back, like the sun peeking through the clouds. By bedtime, mama is smiling again, her tiredness replaced by a sense of peace.

I climb into bed beside mama, snuggling close to her warm embrace. Tonight, I fall asleep feeling happy and loved, knowing that even on mama's tough days, I can be her little helper and make her feel better.
