the Levantine people are suffering. we have been one of the most influential groups of people in history. if we didn't exist, the modern world would be at a standstill. We have taken and reclaimed the world "Levantine" from its racist roots to bring us together as one group. our land is being taken. our people are being killed, our culture is being destroyed. i worry that one day, our people will be in museums, in what they call Israel, England, France, and America with the label "extinct ethnic group from the near middle east." they will use the term "near middle east" to degrade us to what we once were perceived to be, and they will never tell the story of how we really were wiped off the face of the earth.
