I went back to the room I woke up in and just laid there silently crying. In my brain, I knew logically it wasn't my fault that all of this was happening. I never wanted to be here, I just wanted to read a comic book and then get my nails done. But Damian's harsh words cut me deep. I felt responsible for ruining their world and shattering whatever barrier was up before between our universes.

I cried for a good fifteen minutes before I got up and wiped my face. I wanted to just lie down, curl into a ball and cry for the rest of my stay in Gotham. But my go-getter president brain just won't let me sit around and do nothing. I begrudgingly get out of bed and walk to the kitchen to find myself something to eat. Dick told me to make myself at home, and that is exactly what I am going to do.

It took me some time to actually find said kitchen. Even though this place was a giant T it was still pretty hard to navigate it. I opened a lot of bathroom doors and a couple of weapon's rooms before I found it.

I open their fridge only to find it practically empty. Only things in it were some old half empty take out containers, deli meat, bread, butter, and a six pack of off brand Coca Cola. No wonder that sandwich yesterday was so sad looking. These people have no food. I open up some cabinets to look for something, anything, and again come up with nothing. The cabinets only had uncooked pasta.

I guess I'll make myself some butter pasta. Sprinkle some cheese on top to make it less depressing. I scoured the place for a pot and then got to cooking. It didn't take very long, all I did was boil pasta and add butter and cheese. I washed the pot I used and then sat in the living room watching TV.

Nothing they had on was anything I'd ever seen before. It was all off-brand versions of real TV shows. Breaking Bad? Nope more like Shattering Evil. Orange is the new black? Nope Jumpsuits are the new Prada. It's insane, I was so engrossed in eating my pasta and watching these weird shows that I didn't notice when the team got back at first.

"Hey Angela. I see you took Dick's words to heart and really made yourself at home, huh?" Karen chuckles as she walks into the room. The others slowly follow behind her. I place the bowl on the table and walk up to them, nerves fluttering in my stomach.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry I got hungry." I say sheepishly. "Any news? Who fell from the sky this time."

Dick speaks up to answer, "Another girl. Said her name was Zahra. She was wearing the same colors as your T-Shirt."

"Zahara fell through?" My hands start to shake. "S-she's one of my sisters, from my sorority. Is she okay? Where is she?"

"Don't worry Angela." Donna says. She places a comforting hand on my shoulder. "When she fell, no one was there to catch her like Dick did for you. So she is pretty banged up. Currently she is with Cyborg in the medical wing getting treated. Maybe in a couple of hours you can go and see her."

"Okay. Thank you." I nod. Zahra was a really sweet but shy girl. She was a legacy like me which is why she joined the sorority. Otherwise, I think she'd just be locked in a library somewhere reading all day. She's only a freshman so I did feel a bit protective of her. She reminded me of myself when I was younger, before I curated the Angela that I am today.

"What about the portal? Did you guys see it?" I ask.

"Nah" Garfield answers as he throws himself on the couch. "It closed up before we got there. But we got some kind of sciencey readings from it. Cyborg did anyway, I didn't understand the science lingo."

"Cyborg was able to get a reading from the last little tendril of the portal. He calibrated it into his system so now the next time a portal starts to form, we'll be there on time." Dick explains.
