The morning after me and the gang pack up all our things early. We wanted to be out of their hair before Jon had to get ready for school. We said goodbye to Clark and Lois and thanked them for their hospitality. We hopped in the car and made our way back to Gotham.

The car ride was a bit bitter sweet. I knew this was probably my last day here, in this dimension. And it was sad, but I was also really happy that I would be able to go home.

Half way into the car ride Donna spoke up, breaking the silence, "Hey Angela, I have a question."

"Yeah what's up?" I answered.

"What happened to your puppy?" She asked, sincerely. I froze. Holy shit! What the fuck did happen to my puppy? I know it was with me and Gizbie when we got to the fortress, but then she took it and teleported away before the fight with my dad.

"I... I don't know. I think Gizbie has it. She took it before the fight started but I don't remember her bringing it back."

"It's soo like her to steal your dog. I hate that bitch." Zatanna grumbled under her breath. She crossed her arms and huffed while glaring out the window.

"You guys need to squash this beef, ASAP." Dick joked.

"The only thing I'll squash is her! Like a bug." Zatanna's eyes started to softly glow, just at the thought of her and Gizbie.

"Hey, calm down. I'm sure she's taking good care of him," I said, trying to diffuse the tension.

"I'll believe that when I see it," Zatanna muttered, still fuming.

We arrived at the tower a few hours later. And I couldn't lie, I was nervous. Dick said it would be fine, now that the threat was gone and taken care of, there was nothing Damian could be upset with me about. But the issue wasn't Damian. It was everyone else. We were gone for a full week with no contact with them. They probably hated me, especially Zahra.

We stepped into the elevator and my nerves sky rocketed. The doors opened to the top floor and we came face to face with Karen. She froze and stared at all of us with wide eyes.

"Um, surprise?" I said. That snapped her out of it. She grinned and sprinted at me and engulfed me in a hug.

"I'm so happy you're back!" She exclaimed. That warmed my heart. I hugged her back.

"I'm happy I'm back too."

Karen pulled back, practically bouncing with excitement. "I gotta show everyone that you came back! They'll be so excited!" She grabbed my hand and started pulling me out of the elevator, heading straight for the living room.

"What about us?!" Dick exclaimed behind us.

"I don't care about you guys! You're always fucking here," Karen shot back, not even glancing at the others as she dragged me down the hallway. I couldn't help but laugh, feeling a little lighter as we approached the living room. She burst the doors open and presented me to the group like I was a trophy. "Look who's back!"

I was immediately jumped on with hugs by Raven, Gar, and Jamie. I hugged them back just as hard as they were hugging me. I noticed in the corner of the room, Damian stood alone. When we made eye contact he looked away, choosing to look down at his shoes. I ignored that for now.

"Where's Zahra?" I asked the group.

"Where she always is, in her room. After you left last week with Dick and Donna she has not left the room at all." Karen explains. "Cyborg is the only one she'll allow in. He brings her food and hangs out with her and stuff."

My heart panged at the thought of my little sis being alone for so long while I was gone. "I should probably go see her."

"Yeah, I think she'd be excited to see you."
