"Abhi see how am I looking?" Rehana twirled coming out from the walk-in-closet room.

Abhimaan was working on his laptop, wearing his glasses and hearing her exciting voice he raised his face to look at his wife, who's damn excited. But for what?

He scrunched his eyebrows at first looking at her, then chuckled.

Rehana made a pout and stood in front of him. She angrily closed the lid of the laptop and then looked at him angrily.

"Why are you laughing at me?"

"Because of your look"

"Hawww... you're so bad Abhimaan. Chachi asked me to wear this saree for the puja and you're laughing on me"

She puffed her cheeks and turned to the other side. Abhimaan tried to hide his smile at his wife's cute angry face, but controlled and got up from the couch then kneeled down in front of her, catching her off guard.

"What are you doing?" She gasped as his hands went to touch her saree bottom part.

"You wore it the wrong way, Rooh, let me correct it" He said and then helped her to unwrap the saree from her frame.

Her breathing turned heavier when the cold air of the air conditioned room touched her bare skin and to add more to her husband's intense gaze.

Abhimaan kissed her belly and caressed her skin.
"Hey baby, please don't be like your mumma, she herself is a child and I'll get insane"

"Hawww you're so bad" She slapped his shoulder and he smiled.

"I can't believe my little baby wife is one month pregnant" He said and started wrapping the saree around her frame perfectly. As he was tucking the pleats under the petticoat, Rehana giggled feeling ticklish.

"You're such a kid Rooh"

"No way... I'm not a kid anymore... I'm going to be the mother of a kid" she smiled and Abhimaan shook his head.

Getting up and coming to her level, Abhimaan encircled his arms around her shoulder and looked into her eyes.

"It's been more than a week since your last checkup. Should we go in the evening?"

"As you say" She too garlanded her arms around his neck and kissed his cheeks one by one.

"Everything will be okay right?"

"Yes. I'm with you forever. Also I was thinking that I should take parental leave"

"From now?" Her eyes widened at his thoughts and he nodded his head, thinking deeply about the matter.

"But it's just the first month. Also there are so many people in our family"

Abhimaan sat down on the couch and pulled her on his lap. "I know but I don't want to miss any details of your pregnancy period. I want to cherish our little one's every moment from the beginning"
